GS2 was sitting in the dentist chair this afternoon on his mummy's knee. While the dentist was looking at his teeth etc he was very good but nervous. Same GS again. He's a new starter at school & the teacher said he's settling well now & coming out of his shell.
There's a girl in his class who went to the same nursery but is older. She's his favourite. My DD txt last night saying as he was dropping off to sleep he said "Mummy I gave 'A' a kiss today & she said she didn't want one". Mummy asked how that made him feel? "Sad" he said. Mummy then asked where he kissed her. His reply "On her cardigan".

Awww, Nana, that's so sweet. I know how you feel though! GD2 always wants to hug everybody and not all children want to be hugged, especially with the bone crushing enthusiasm GD2 puts into it, and she's always a bit sad when the other child avoids her hug.
