Lizzie, I agree. Crowds aren't for me either. Your poor DB2. You get all psyched up for a procedure, and then it's postponed at the last minute. I hope it goes ahead ok next Thursday. I don't know what the dog hair brush is made of. I'll ask DS2.

Oma, it must be a relief that your neighbour is't far away from Chris. I hope that will be a comfort to her - 67 years is such a long time. I can't imagine how she must be feeling, poor lady. Yes, you would have parked under the tree. I actually like it - it's in full leaf and flowering now, but I also like the bare branches in the winter. I know it makes its presence felt most of the year, but I'd hate to see it chopped down.

I got a bit of gardening done - mainly emptying pots of spring bulbs out and heeling them into a spare trough until they die down. We've got two very big canna lilies that need splitting up and repotting, so that's a job for tomorrow. OH has given them a good watering tonight. Everything is so dry now, even after all that rain in the winter.

        Good morning ladies.

Oma, enjoy your few days break.

        Sad about your neighbours.

Daisy, that was kind of GS to clean the car.

Lizzie, hope your brothers op goes ahead next week.

            Oma, have a lovely time

Lizzie, orange is my GS2's favourite colour, so he would love that day!

Daisy, your DS2 did a good job on OH's car. Very nice of him.

I enjoyed yesterdays aqua class all the more as I almost didn't get a place. Now I am trying to get a cancellation for tomorrows one....

                Good Tuesday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, I agree about the graphic. I good motto for every day.

Oma, Enjoy your little holiday. Relax and make the most of it. I hope the doctor's appointment went ok.

Gem, your aqua classes do you the world of good. I hope you get a cancellation for tomorrow. What a busy day for you. What colour have you chosen for your summer nails? I hope you've got y our open-toed sandals at the ready to show them off. Good luck with the scan. Just relax and follow the instructions - it will soon be over, and you will then wonder what you were a bit worried about. We're all wondering about your phone, but understand it's a very busy day today.

Lizzie, I hope everyone has recovered from yesterday's celebrations.

We took Eva to the new vet's this morning. She needed some medicine for her old lady's troubles, and we wanted her to go to the new vets with no pressure so she won't be nervous in future. The staff were so lovely with her. The receptionist and nurse both made a fuss of her, and then the vet fussed her as well. She was lovely with Eva (and us!) and gave her a good check over - all ok. She thought her cruciate ligament was doing really well and was incredible for a dog of her age and size. Eva loved all the attention and treats but wouldn't let any of us check her microchip. Par for the course. She made herself at home and had a good sniff round. Then we went and filled the car up and did a bit of shopping. We got home at lunch time, and by then I had a headache. So OH made lunch and I've had a rest. Just off to do a bit more gardening. It's sunny but very windy again.

I hope your headache has gone Daisy. Eva did well with her vets appointment πŸ™‚

I have gone for pink sparkly nails. She was very surprised wasn't blue. I said I was having a change but will want blue for my holidays!

I have a busy day and am going for my MRI soon, but I will report about my phone! I am now on my new phone, with everything transferred from the lost-and-recovered one.

Gem, I like to paint my toenails for the summer, and love pink with sparkly bits. I usually end up with silver, pale pink, in your face bright pink or a blueish-purple. It never looks as good as a professional pedicure would, but I can change it more often.

I hope the MRI went ok, and was easier than you expected. I'm so pleased you've been able to transfer everything on to your new phone.

Well I wouldn't want another one in a hurry let's say Daisy!
Doing the whole spine takes some time. I still feel quite physically shaken up.
Off for an early night, talk to you all in the morning xx

                        Good morning.

Gem, I'm glad your MIR is over with.

Daisy, hope your headache didn't hang on too long.
Well done to Eva with the visit to the new vet. Glad all was well.

Gynae check up for me. I really don't want to go, i don't want to go ever again.

                          Good morning everyone.

Nan2 I can understand how you must be feeling. I would feel the same way.
Hopefully will get reassuring results from it and be able to put it behind you again for a while xx

I'm ok now. A night's sleep and painkillers did the trick!

Oma, I hope you have arrived safely.

Aqua for me this morning ( I got a cancellation yesterday afternoon) This afternoon I am going to see GS2 in his Year 5 play, Paddington! Tickets are sadly limited, so it's me and SIL today, DD and her FIL tomorrow. I am looking forward to it 😊

I hope my 3 DDs are having a lovely break.

It's not a nice thing to have to do but better you are being looked after than ignored isn't it.

                                Good Wednesday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I hope the gynae check up isn't as bad as you fear, but Oma, is right - better to be safe than sorry. Your morning message is so true - there is always something to be thankful for.

Gem, I remember my full body scan took about an hour, so I imagine yours was a long time, too. Well done, though. It's probably the only one you will need and will probably lead to some really effective treatment for your back pain. Enjoy your day with aqua and your GS2's play. I bet he'll be very excited.

Oma, what an amazing spot. I bet you could just sit there and soak up that view. The good weather is a bonus.

We think Eva was ill-treated at some point either deliberately or accidentally, and she wouldn't let us touch her anywhere she couldn't see, especially her back. It's taken years to be able to stroke her back, but not if you've got something in your hand. Grooming is still difficult, so I can understand she doesn't like the chip reader.

It's another lovely sunny day but still windy. I want to put a meal in the slow cooker and then get out in the garden. OH is off for the day with his car pals.
