Lizzie, I agree. Crowds aren't for me either. Your poor DB2. You get all psyched up for a procedure, and then it's postponed at the last minute. I hope it goes ahead ok next Thursday. I don't know what the dog hair brush is made of. I'll ask DS2.

Oma, it must be a relief that your neighbour is't far away from Chris. I hope that will be a comfort to her - 67 years is such a long time. I can't imagine how she must be feeling, poor lady. Yes, you would have parked under the tree. I actually like it - it's in full leaf and flowering now, but I also like the bare branches in the winter. I know it makes its presence felt most of the year, but I'd hate to see it chopped down.

I got a bit of gardening done - mainly emptying pots of spring bulbs out and heeling them into a spare trough until they die down. We've got two very big canna lilies that need splitting up and repotting, so that's a job for tomorrow. OH has given them a good watering tonight. Everything is so dry now, even after all that rain in the winter.

Lizzie, orange is my GS2's favourite colour, so he would love that day!

Daisy, your DS2 did a good job on OH's car. Very nice of him.

                Good Tuesday afternoon, everyone.

Nanto, I agree about the graphic. I good motto for every day.

Oma, Enjoy your little holiday. Relax and make the most of it. I hope the doctor's appointment went ok.

Gem, your aqua classes do you the world of good. I hope you get a cancellation for tomorrow. What a busy day for you. What colour have you chosen for your summer nails? I hope you've got y our open-toed sandals at the ready to show them off. Good luck with the scan. Just relax and follow the instructions - it will soon be over, and you will then wonder what you were a bit worried about. We're all wondering about your phone, but understand it's a very busy day today.

Lizzie, I hope everyone has recovered from yesterday's celebrations.

We took Eva to the new vet's this morning. She needed some medicine for her old lady's troubles, and we wanted her to go to the new vets with no pressure so she won't be nervous in future. The staff were so lovely with her. The receptionist and nurse both made a fuss of her, and then the vet fussed her as well. She was lovely with Eva (and us!) and gave her a good check over - all ok. She thought her cruciate ligament was doing really well and was incredible for a dog of her age and size. Eva loved all the attention and treats but wouldn't let any of us check her microchip. Par for the course. She made herself at home and had a good sniff round. Then we went and filled the car up and did a bit of shopping. We got home at lunch time, and by then I had a headache. So OH made lunch and I've had a rest. Just off to do a bit more gardening. It's sunny but very windy again.

I hope your headache has gone Daisy. Eva did well with her vets appointment 🙂

I have gone for pink sparkly nails. She was very surprised wasn't blue. I said I was having a change but will want blue for my holidays!

I have a busy day and am going for my MRI soon, but I will report about my phone! I am now on my new phone, with everything transferred from the lost-and-recovered one.
