I have read all the posts but very active day today has left me very weary and my arms, shoulders and back are aching. From sitting position on uncomfortable chairs. Talk tomorrow.

It's been one of those days with nothing planned but never had a few minutes to sit down and Chat.

Lizzie, sending love and hoping you're ok. xxx

Gem, everything crossed that the chiropractor can help, and also that the GP can give S a more suitable pain relief. Sometimes the side effects are as bad as the problem they're supposed to treat. I hope your reflexology treatment has made you feel better. The reflexologist sounds like a very kind and sensitive person, so I hope you were able to relax.

Plant, I hope you sleep well after your busy day. Uncomfortable chairs are a pet hate of mine, so I sympathise.

Oma, how is Storm getting on? He won't know your house when he visits after your kitchen is done. Although as long as he can find his treats I don't suppose he will mind. Are you taking MIL shopping tomorrow? If so, I hope it goes well.

Nanto, I'm sure the cooking went well. It is great to have meals in the freezer ready to go, and I wish I was better at thinking ahead. Those strawberries make me think of summer!

My arm felt quite a lot better this morning, but I've been careful today. It's just certain movements that hurt. Luckily I could do most things that would have been painful with my left hand, except slicing bread. OH is a nervous wreck if he sees me using a large sharp knife normally, so he was happy to take over. It's been dry here, until just after I'd put some things out on the line, and it poured with rain. Eva's hydrotherapy place phoned to say could we make it for 9 am tomorrow, instead of 10.40, so it will be an early start for us. I hate rushing round in the morning.

I was walking Eva this evening and mentally going over various birthdays etc in my head and realised I hadn't got a card for a life-long friend whose birthday is on the 22nd. It was a good ten minutes before I realised the birthday is 22 May, and this is April!!

            Good morning ladies.

            Not much happening here today.

I want to change the bedding and clean upstairs.

            Sainsbury's delivery between 9 and 10.

There's a possibility of being out for a pub meal today.

              Morning Nanto, ladies.

              Nanto
That's what I will be doing this morning pushing a trolly,
Hope you get out for your pub meal .

I'm off to Aldi at 8 then over to take MIL to Morrisons at 10 and take her card and gift she is 92 today
              Hopefully she's in a good mood .
Then B has kidney specialist at 2.30 at local hospital.

              Gem
How are you both today, any improvement?
              How's DD doing ?

              Daisy
Take it easy with your arm for another few days,
B won't let me near sharp knives and certainly won't let me cut bread , he says I butcher it ,
One end thin and doorstep on the other 😁

We went to DDs last night ,
Storm is doing incredibly well ,
              Playing with his toys etc,
DD took him for a walk to our village yesterday said he is still walking slowly but isn't showing signs of pain,
She said he wagged his tail all the way home 😁
He is off his pain meds just gets his arthritis pills everyday.

                Good morning everyone,

I bet your DD is so pleased with Storm's progress, Oma.

I hope you get the pub meal Nan2.

Take care with your arm Daisy. It's easy to get our months muddled up when we have so much going on!

I hope you got good nights sleep Plant.

OH feels better already from the chiropractor visit, and I can see she is limping less. So hopefully when she completes the course and does the exercises he's given her, she will be back to her normal self. She has her aches and pains as we all do, but this was something much worse.

Little E from nursery and here for the night as usual on Thursdays. The little girl from next door and her mummy are coming round for a play late afternoon before her mummy takes her home. She spends half the week next door with daddy and half with mummy. Very sad but as she's only 2 I suppose she is adapting to it.
Very wet afternoon and night, but the sun is out now and no rain at present.
                Have a good Thursday everyone.

                  Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, pushing a trolley round a supermarket must be up there with visits to the dentist, rain when you've just put the washing out to dry, and spam phone calls. I read somewhere recently that people spend more when trolley have two handles instead of the bar. It sounded unlikely, but something to do with make you feel better! I agree with you, though, delivery every time if possible. I hope you make it out for a pub meal.

Oma, happy birthday to your MIL. Perhaps today's shop will be easier. I hope B's kidney check up goes well. I know it's something he has to watch carefully, so fingers crossed. You must all be pleased at how well Storm is doing. He's sensible walking slowly and building up his strength again. Does DD give him collagen? Our orthopaedic vet recommended it for Eva to support joints and recovery from injury. We give her a scoop of 100% bovine collagen powder once a day. The hydrotherapist was very pleased with her today. It's certainly showing in her coat - she's developed much more, longer and curlier fur on her tummy!

That's how I cut bread as well! It makes for interesting sandwiches, and is a challenge for the toaster!

Gem, it's great that S is already feeling the benefits of the chiropractic. I suppose most of us cope with general aches and pains, but severe pain like that is awful. I'm sure she's already thinking about how soon she will feel well enough to get out on the golf course. Are you feeling better after your reflexology? Does Little E know the little girl from next door is coming to play this afternoon? I bet he's excited. It is sad that her mummy and daddy are no longer together, but hopefully she's happy whichever parent she is with.

Plant, did you sleep well after your busy day? I hope you're feeling better.

Lizzie, just thinking of you, and hoping you're ok. xx

It was pouring with rain when we went out this morning, and I think it had rained hard in the night. The sun's shining now, but it doesn't feel very warm because of the cold wind. So many trees seem to have come into leaf almost overnight, and everywhere looks so green and fresh.

Cleaner poorly again, migraine.. Expected her earlier but she has just woken up and sent me a message after I got in touch with her. I am sorry she is poorly, she is very good but so unreliable. I know she can’t help being poorly but if I hadn’t messaged her I would still be waiting for her. I will get someone to help me with the bedding and put a cleaner around, I can live with a bit of dust.

Hallo everyone, I am feeling fine, if I follow the rules!! I have medicine etc and have to go back to the hospital a few times. I will survive!

We haven't had the rain, lovely and sunny but with a wind.

GD2 has been in Paris, Euro Disney on Tuesday, I messaged her to see what is was like, "sooooooo busy and even more expensive " was her answer. I heard from a friend that Belgium and the UK still have Easter holidays so that would make it even busier, there are no Easter holidays here. She did enjoy it all though and should be home now.

Gem, I am pleased that S is feeling better, Daisy, I do hope that you are feeling better now.

I have a few things to catch up on so must make a start.

Lizzie, glad you are feeling ok.

We got our pub meal and we both enjoyed it.

Took MIL shopping , she wasn't feeling great but insisted on going,
We had to leave her as B had a hospital appointment,
So I rang his sister and she went up , she rang the nurses and when they came it turns out she has a chest infection,
Not a great birthday for her.
We came home and B went to see the kidney specialist,
He said although his kidney function is only 23% it's stable so he's happy with him.

Then GS and lucie came round , they just went when the lady who bought my old sideboard came to collect it,

I had to empty the larder cupboard in between all that as the fitter is coming first thing tomorrow and he has to move the larder cupboard slightly so it has to be empty.
I'm shattered as we were up at 5 this morning.

                          Gem
Pleased to hear S is feeling a bit better, fingers crossed after the next treatment she will be even better,
Did E enjoy playing with next doors granddaughter?

                          Daisy
Yes Storm has collagen, in tablet form ,
He is very good at taking them , he has 3 tablets a day,
DD just leaves them on his bed and he eats them in his own time 😁

                          How is your arm?

                          Plant
I know all about migraine and you can't really think straight , but I think you need a more reliable cleaner,
If she has bad migraines they come on so sudden and you really can't do anything,
So she will cancel a lot I bet.
                          How are you feeling today?

                          Lizzie
I'm sure you just get on with things and as you say follow the rules,
                          Take care.

                          Nanto
I'm pleased you enjoyed your pub meal , what did you have?
