        Good morning ladies.

Lizzie, having a few days away in May, will be good for you.

Nothing planned for us today, we'll just take the day as it comes.

Oma, hopefully an easier day for you and B.

          Morning Nanto, Ladies.

It's raining hard and very cold,

          Nanto
          What a sweet graphic 😁
I hope you get a peaceful day too.

          Lizzie
How lovely to have something to look forward too,
          It looks really nice .
Will one of the GDs be going with you this time?

          Gem,
          Just ♥️♥️♥️

We have been to Aldi then to B&Q ,
Our elderly neighbours rang this morning early ,,
The sink was blocking up so could we get her some drain unblocker,

B&Q had the large Mr Muscle on for £3 on offer so I got us both two bottles

B is going to go down with it after his coffee and sort it out.

I'm hoping his mother doesn't get out today , give us a day without going out again.

            Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I bet you still find plenty to do.

Oma, you neighbours must be very grateful to have you and B next door. Is Mr Neighbour out of hospital now? Fingers crossed you can have a peaceful day. I'm sure you both need it.

Gem is popping in from time to time. Sending love, Gem. xxx

It's a busy day in Daisy Towers today. We've got Cooper (DS2's dog) here. He's like a huge puppy still, and was so excited when he arrived. He was running round the house and then the garden, checking everything out. He spent ages sniffing Eva's doughnut bed in the living room, and I realised he could smell Missy from next door on it, as she had snoozed on it a couple of evenings ago! I think he's still trying to find this mystery dog!!

The demister in OH's car has stopped working, and I think he'll have to take it to our local VW garage. These things always happen when least convenient. We would have used OH's car to collect Eva from the vets after her x-ray tomorrow as it's easier to get her in and out of it, and we're going to DIL1's on Saturday for a late celebration of GS2's 21st birthday - again OH's car would be more comfortable for her. Very much first world problems, I know.

It's dull but dry so far today, and feels much warmer. I hope it lasts, but don't suppose it will.

              Daisy
Yes he came out of hospital on Tuesday,
He feels much better in his own home ,
B went down and put stuff down the drain, he said he looked very very frail but much brighter.

Cooper will be wondering where the smell is from 😁

Always the same things break down when you need them most ,
              What time is Eva's x-ray?

It's still dark and wet here,
I've just washed down my kitchen cupboard doors but my shoulder is aching now so I'm giving it a rest for a while before I do anything else,
I think all the cleaning at mothers yesterday hasn't helped,
Unfortunately it's my dominant hand so I have to use it.

Its been raining all day and dark with it.

Iv'e put clean bedding on and cleaned the bedrooms.
                Mucky bedding has been washed.

Just did a quick dust and hoover downstairs.

Oma, I'm sure all the work you did at your MIL's made your poor shoulder worse. The trouble is these sorts of problems happen to our dominant side just because we use them more. It's hard to rest them enough. Try and rest it tomorrow if possible.

I'm glad to hear your neighbour is home. As you say it will be more comfortable and restful for him.

Cooper kept going back to sniff at the dog bed.

He's gone back home now. Eva's got to be at the Vetinary hospital by 9.30 but we don't know what time she'll be seen. It depends on emergencies and what else is going on. I hope she's doesn't have to wait too long. We'll have to leave about 8.15 as it's rained hard and the quickest route might be impassable. Sometimes living in the back of beyond has its drawbacks.

OH has booked his car into our friendly local garage for next Tuesday. The quote just to look at the car at the dealership was about £150.

Nanto, After a nice start to the day it's been raining hard here as well. Another day needing the lights on! At least you got some useful jobs done.

Let's hope tomorrow is better. 🤞

Gem, it's been pouring here most of the evening. I hope our roads aren't flooded.

                          It's the same here , I think it's getting heavier ,

We have the dog tomorrow so I'm hopeful it will be a quiet day.

I had to ring the hospital about a hour ago ,
MIL rang crying they said she needs to have oxygen all day plus use a nebuliser,
She was worried she wouldn't know what to do or how to use it.

She has had a nebuliser before so I'm not sure what she's worried about.

I spoke to the lovely nurse in charge and she said she will have a chat with her and assure her they will show her ,
but until the Drs meet tomorrow it's not definite she will have one,

MIl has just as usual picked on what she wants to hear and fixated on it.

If she comes out tomorrow B will have to go for her and will chat with the nurses then and make sure she knows what to do.

Oma, hope MIL allows you a quiet day today.

I think more raain is forecast for today.

Hubby out for a couple of hours later. No plans for me.

                              Morning Nanto, ladies.

                              Nanto
It would be nice but I have a feeling she will cause a problem in some shape or form.

DD has had a massive leak in her bathroom ,
All the floors has to be ripped up , vanity units have to come out and her shower cubicle,
Her vanity unit is topped with granite, she's worried it will crack when they take it out ,
She said the smell is awful.

David's friend who is a plumber is going for 9 am to see what he can do for now.
They are all coming here for a shower at some point throughout the day ,

GS is going to London today to spend a few days with David's brother his uncle before going back to uni so he will be ok.
DD said they don't know how long it's been leaking but the kitchen ceiling is stained and there was water oozing through the wood flooring ..
