    Morning Nanto, ladies.

    Nanto
It's a thing isn't it dump the freezer stuff in then sort it after,
I especially do that if we have ice-cream,

    Daisy
You were busy weren't you ,
I hope your not suffering for it today.

The carers are ok but MIL won't let them do much more than make her a cup of tea then complains she is paying for them sitting around🙄

    Plant
How nice Waitrose drivers bring your shopping into the kitchen and unpacking for you.
Lenny is growing fast you must see the change every time you see him,
Did GD pick a nice cake for her birthday treat?

I have been busy this morning, two lots of washing done and dried, housework sorted,

B washed all the floors and I cleaned the bathroom ,

I karcher the tiles every time we use the shower during the week but on a Sunday I like to give it a good clean down and go over the tiles with a microfiber cloth gets rid of any water marks that I miss.

Once they open I want to go over the road to Home bargains then the Range,
I might pop into M&S while I'm there.

My DS text last night with some videos from GD's dance competition, she's very bendy,
He was saying GS2 is thinking of going into the fire service , he's changed his mind about becoming a physio.
At 17 I don't think they know what they want to do.
Im not fat just 6ft too small

      Good morning all.

Nan2, we have two freezers too, one in the garage. When things get dumped in (as they do) its hard to see what we've got.

I'm glad you were feeling better yesterday Daisy

OH is feeling a bit off it after her Covid jab yesterday, but there is nothing she needs to do today. The snooker final will hopefully be a good distraction!
Today my only plans are get the room ready for my reflexology treatment tomorrow (lots of Christmas presents in there waiting to be wrapped at the moment!)
I may do some wrapping today, but there is no hurry so I may not!
      Deep water aqua this afternoon.

Happy Sunday everyone, although if it's like it is here - raining, dark and dismal, you might have to be inventive!

Nanto, A tidy freezer is a sight to behold. Or so I've been told. I think most people just dump things in. I hope you're pleased with the new shoe rack.

Oma, you have been busy this morning. I feel tired reading about it - I didn't even get up until 9.30 this morning! You're right, I am tired after yesterday. I think you have to be pretty bendy to be a dancer or a gymnast. Is she hypermobile? My GD1 is and has to be careful doing karate or she can end up with painful arm joints. I hope MIL allowed the care staff to help with the bath she's booked for today. I agree, youngsters of your GS2's age often don't know what they want to do and often change their minds. I used to say to students it's likely they will do a variety of jobs over the years.

Gem, I do hope OH has a restful day and enjoys the snooker. You never know how these jabs are going to affect you, especially when you're undergoing other significant treatment. I opted not to have one this year. Yes, you've got plenty of time to wrap your Christmas presents so you can have a restful day today, apart from your deep water aqua, of course.

I'm pottering about, not achieving anything much apart from booking some blood tests online. OH has sold some Meccano kits online so is busy wrapping those up ready for posting. I'm hoping for a break in the weather to go out for a walk.

That's a lot of birthdays around Christmas Plant.
We only have my auntie on December 27th (which I forgot about when writing in the December thread!! Then SIL3 on January 6th.

I hope the weather improves for the walk Daisy.

At 17 Oma I think they can change their minds a lot. And a lot later!

It is raining heavily, I do not want to out!! If I don't go to the class I will be penalised for cancelling less than 4 hours ahead. I notice than unlike other aqua classes this seems to have a few spaces even on the afternoon of the class. I won't book ahead for next Sunday, then if I feel like going I should be able to get a place on the day.

If the Advent calendar is still not done when I get back I will do it

Hallo everyone, not been good a few days, the breathing has improved but my head started yesterday, my nose was running like a tap, all day long, it is much easier today and I do feel a lot better.

I have been to DS1 as I said that I would take them to the station, they are on their way to Sweden now, home on Friday. GD1 showed me her bedroom, very nice as well, they have that wood panelling behind her bed and have placed light strips in it. She is really pleased with the room.

It is dark and dismal here as well Daisy, I think it rained all day long yesterday, I never went out at all so I must have felt bad. I have done some shopping this morning.

I am like you Daisy, I don't like laptop keyboards, maybe it is what we get used to. I am pleased I got this Mac last year, I do still use my iPad, I will take it to the office in the morning to keep me occupied between clients. It must be almost 10 years old now, it does seem to still work well.

Nanto, the shoe rack will be handy.

Oma, do you ever relax! You must have the cleanest house in the area!

A neighbour on the 3rd floor got robbed the other day, she had been to get some money and apparently the men had followed her home, dressed as workmen, she let them in and they took her money etc. We haven't heard anything about it in the flat, my friend works in a supermarket in the next village, this ladies son is a fireman and they do their shopping there, he was telling my friend all about it as he knows that she lives in the same street.

It was my eldest brothers 87th birthday on the 5th.

I will start to get my tea on, I was in bed at 3pm yesterday so nothing cooked, I did have soup at lunch time so didn't starve.

Gem, sorry S is feeling off colour.
Lizzie, sorry you have been under the weather as well.
Hope both are feeling better tomorrow.

Its been dark here all day,and its rained off and on.
Blowing a gale here now as well.

Lizzie, poor you. You sound very poorly, and not to go out is almost unheard of for you. I hope you get a good night's sleep and feel better tomorrow.

I think laptop keyboards are hard to use if you touch type. Your iPad has done well, and they are easier to carry round than a laptop.

How awful, that lady getting robbed like that. It must have been very frightening for her. I suppose the moral is not to let unexpected workmen into your home, but it's easy to be wise after the event. Would the mean have been caught on any security cameras in your building?

I hope DS1 and family have a lovely few days in Sweden. GD1 is obviously very happy with her bedroom.

Nanto, we've had a fair bit of rain, and it got quite windy for a while. I didn't take Eva out until gone 8 o'clock and usually everywhere's deserted. Tonight we saw three other nutcases walking their dogs, or at least you see the torches and maybe a quick glimpse of the dog! It's quite odd seeing a light and a dog approaching but not the person.

Gem, I think a lot of people wouldn't feel much like going out in the dark and bad weather to the aqua class.

I've felt tired all day and not done much, so I hope I feel better tomorrow!

                  Night, night everyone.

Good morning, Daisy and Nanto, I am improving, thankfully! I hope that you feel better as well today Daisy. DS1 is in Sweden for his work, whilst he is working DIL works from the hotel room, I saw that she was taking her Mac book.

We don't have camera's in the flat, or anywhere really, privacy law! People with the door bell camera's here have to be very careful as to the angle of the filming.

                      Good morning.

                      Lizzie, glad you are improving.
Hope everyone else who is feeling under the weather feeling better soon.

No plans in this household today, we'll just take the day as it comes.

Good morning Nan2 and froggy friends. Good morning ladies.

Sorry you have been poorly Lizzie and fingers crossed you are now on the mend.

How are you feeling today Daisy?

Oma, I hope there have been no overnight dramas with MIL.

OH is feeling much better now I'm pleased to say.
Aqua again this morning just the feet on the ground kind. My last reflexology treatment of the year this afternoon. Then I can fill that room with Christmas stuff

                          Morning ladies
Hope all that are feeling under the weather improve everyday,

                          Lizzie
I think every door practically has ring door cameras these days here or security cameras on the house.

                          Gem
Enjoy your last reflexology of the year ,make the most of it ,
No dramas during the night with MIL but sparks will be flying today,
SIL1 is going and MIL really upset her yesterday , she said something nasty to SIL2 about my niece and she told SIL 1 her mam what she had said so SIL1 is livid.

                          Nanto
Love the frogs it made me chuckle 😁

It must be so strange as you say , seeing a light but no body 🤣🤣
                          Did you sleep well?

B has taken the car into the garage for a recall repair something to do with the charging cap.

                          I have wrapped Finley's presents ,
I got MIL in the secret Santa draw🙄,

So I have done her a sweet hamper and added a ginger bread man tea towel too it.
At least I know she will eat the sweets.

                          Have a good day ladies,

                          Plant
I hope your able to get on without trouble today 😁xx

Here goes, hope it posts today.

I have a gardener here, he is clearing the courtyard of weeds, I can’t cope with it anymore. He will empty the pots and I will get some new plants. He is a very good gardener, only does my borders but very expensive. I need to go out to the local parade later to get some money, post some cards etc etc. Had a lovely visit from DS, Dil and GS, yesterday they will be here Christmas morning. It is DS’s birthday today.

Gemini, Enjoy your Aqua, pleased to hear S is feeling better today.

Daisy, I wouldn’t feel happy going out after dark and I live in a road. Be careful.

Oma, I hope Mil keeps cheerful, Is she with you on Christmas Day? GS1 is probably home now, he will be around for a meal.

Nanto, Those frogs look very happy and about to enjoy that cup of coffee! Is the shoe rack in position now? I do hope your hubby has got his next project lined up. He likes to keep busy, doesn't he.

Lizzie, I'm very pleased to hear you're feeling better. I think in the UK we've got so used to security cameras everywhere and door bell cameras that we other countries are the same. But they can be very useful. It's good DIL can travel with DS1 and work from the hotel. Hopefully it gives them evenings together.

Gem, you must both be relieved that your OH is feeling a lot better. How was your reflexology today?

Oma, I'm sure your Secret Santa for MIL will be enjoyed, even if there's no actual verbal appreciation. Oh dear, it sounds as though sparks will fly at visiting time tonight. Did the garage fix your car while B waited for it?

Plant, there's always something to do in the garden. I love the idea of a courtyard. What pot plants will you choose? Very happy birthday greetings to your DS. I don't mind walking in the dark. Our road is horse shoe shape with a couple of places we can cut through from one side to another, and if I was ever really frightened I'd just knock on someone's door, but mostly it's just other residents walking their dogs.

I'm feeling much better today, thank goodness, and slept well. It's been one of those days though where everything that should be simple has been complicated. We spent a long time this morning re-insuring my car. The present insurers had put the premium up by well over £100, so we shopped round, and round, and round! It took ages, but finally got it sorted. OH's car insurance is also due at the end of this month, so we'll no doubt have to do it all over again. But not today.

I got myself a power bank for my phone a few days ago, and realised that the leads were incompatible. No idea what was incompatible with what, so I was going to return it, but DS2 said he'd got loads of leads and to try some of them before I send the item back. My brain is reeling from combinations of USBs - A to C, Lightning , and goodness knows what else. At least DS2 understands it.

It's been dull today but quite mild, so I took Eva out onto the Forest this afternoon. We had a lovely walk and saw a few doggy pals as well.
