    Morning Oma.
I think it's too early days to take my auntie out. She is doing well but she hasn't been home long. We will just visit her today and take cake. Fingers crossed we will be able to take her out before Christmas.
That is VERY early for Christmas decorations!!

Sending gentle hugs to your auntie Gem,
I'm sure she will enjoy cake๐Ÿ˜

Lizzie oh my goodness no that's far to early, they may as well leave them up all year๐Ÿ˜ฑ

Well we went to B&Q , then to two garden centres,
None were as good as our tree , one had a snow covered one I quite liked but it was very small,
I asked if they were getting it in in a bigger size they said no.
I think I would have bought that one if it was taller.

I did buy a nice gingerbread family ornament though๐Ÿ˜
Im not fat just 6ft too small

Well, if my friend had her way she would leave them up all year round, but her DH says September to January is enough!

Oma, Far too early for me too, I would get fed up with them before Christmas. I hope Mil is still keeping well. Good luck with the tree buying.

Lizzie, I donโ€™t understand why you donโ€™t use your car in bad weather. A bit of an overkill your friends have with their trees

Lizzie, your friends trees look nice, but way too early for me.

Our no plans didn't last long. Bro in law rang hubby, asking if he could give him a hand with something.
So we were there about 1ยฝ hours.
Had time to get my ironing done when we got home.

Weather hasn't been bad today, breezy, but plenty of sunshine.

Gem, hope you have a lovely visit with Auntie G.

Oma, hope you get sorted with a new tree.

Sorry I'm so late today. I had a blood test booked for this morning, and was about to post on here when I got back but got distracted by a phone call. I'll try and catch up later or in the morning.

Don't worry Daisy, some days are just too busy!

Wow Lizzie, I am liking that Christmas shower curtain

It was nice to see Auntie G, She enjoyed our visit but we could tell she was tired so we didn't stay too long. She enjoyed the cake and loved cyclamen plant we took.
Her hip is healing well but the operation and hospital stay have taken their toll. She is almost 97.
My cousin dropped in before we left which was nice. He pops in every day as they live down the road. She will have carers for while yet.
He said she is looking a lot better than when she came home, but definitely not herself yet. She was adamant that she won't be up to going out when we next see her in mid December. We all told her its over a month away, and we agreed to check with her nearer the time. If not we will have lunch with her at the bistro there.

Christening went well, service a bit long but the children were very good. We had a lovely lunch after and it was a lovely sunny but cold day so the children played outside when we got back. I have a gentleman here doing some gardening for me, fortunately it isnโ€™t wet.

I've tried to post a couple of times today, but it's been hectic. I'll try and catch up tomorrow. Sleep well, everyone.

                            Good morning,its breezy again.

I'm going with hubby into town when he goes to meet his pal.
I've been enjoying my Tuesday visits to town.

Hubby wants me to go to stitch express, he wants a badge sewing onto a jacket.
I can't do it, its a Belstaf jacket and it's very thick. Not taking the jacket with me either its heavy.
Got a photo of it on my phone, where he wants the badge.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone passing through today

That's a good arrangement Nan when you both enjoy the day.

Daisy, I hope today is a bit less hectic for you!

Its a long time since I went to a Christening Plant.

Library morning then lunch with my two 'school friends'. One is my friend C, the other another C. We all met at the grammar school, aged 11. Original C and I have always stayed in touch, but all three of us meeting up has been fairly recent. We meet for lunch a few times a year and always enjoy it.
Golf for OH, with rain forecast.

                                Morning ladies,
                                Very wet today,

                                Gem
Enjoy your lunch out , I have just found a envelope I was meant to give you when we met,
It was in the back pocket of my handbag, I will get it to you soon I hope ๐Ÿ˜

                                Daisy
I hope you have more time to yourself today .

                                Nanto
                                Enjoy your trip into town,
I hope the price for the patch isn't too bad otherwise super glue it ๐Ÿ˜

I have a Barra brith in the oven,
I soaked the fruit last night,
B had to help pour it into the loaf tin as if I lift anything heavy my hands shake,
It would have been anywhere but the tin ๐Ÿ˜
                                It's smelling lovely.
B doesn't like it so I will slice it and freeze most of it.
