Sounds like a full day for you but a nice full day,
I'm sure GD will be keeping you company while next door are away 😁

    Daisy
J will finish cooking or is it just to heat up?
Have a lazy evening revive your energy.

Yes the Biomechanics man at least suggested something else
Apparently it's the equivalent of a steroid injection so see how it works.

We decided to go out for tea to a little out of the way place , it's down windy roads and passed stables but it's very nice.

I decided to try the vegetarian stir fried veg with Teriyaki sauce,
My goodness it was delicious, I'm not a lover of baby corn but this was sliced in half length ways and cooked to perfection ,lots of different veg and it came with rice,
There was so much the rice didn't even get touched.

B had Fish & Chips and although he enjoyed them he wished he had chosen the stir fry also.

We had called into the farm shop bakery on the way home from the hospital so I have a little black forest gateau, and B has a bonoffie pie for later 😁

Lizzie, hope you feel better soon.

      Busy day for you plant.

Plant, what a good day you've had. I think your old WI group are doing the right thing, keeping in touch with each other and having regular get togethers. How did the games afternoon go? I was glad OH went to his car pal's - he needs a break now and then - and he came home earlier than usual. I only had to do the rice, reheat the dhal and add lemon juice and a handful of spinach. OH did the clearing up though. I'm sure your DD and SIL are pleased GD1 is around to keep an eye on you/help you/bring H round to entertain you, etc. They'd worry about you otherwise.

Oma, was it a restaurant or a pub you went to? I'd have been tempted by the stir fry as well - a good choice. You'll have to go back soon so B can have the same. How was the Black Forest gateau?

Daisy it will have done your OH good to get out a bit, and well done you not overdoing it while he was gone!

That sounds a nice sociable day Plant.

Lizzie I was suffering badly with hay fever on Monday. The rain the last couple of days has lowered the pollen count.
I hope you soon feel better whatever the cause.

Oma I hope the treatment tomorrow helps. Your tea out sounds nice!

Nan2 does your hubby go back for any post op checks?

Well my friend did turn up. She was a little late but I expected that, she's never been a good time keeper!
It's been cold windy and miserable here today.

Good morning, Gem, it isn't the pollen, just flu! I had such a high fever last night, luckily it is lower now. I feel so weak, I hope it soon clears.

Good morning, looks a better morning, the sun is shining.

Lizzie, hope you feel better soon.

Gem, according to hubby's paper work, he will have a follow up with the GP.
I think he's done really well because if he has a cold, you would think he's at deaths door, but he's never complained once about the op.

Oma, hope your appointment goes well today.

                No plans for today.

Asda delivery between 9 and 10.

Mash, veg and toad in the hole for dinner.

                  Good morning everyone;
The sun is back where we are

                  Feel better soon Lizzie xx

Upwards onwards for your hubby Nan2, he's doing so well.

It's not a normal GS3 day today. This weekend his mummy and friends have a weekend away and he and his daddy are going to stay with the other grandparents for easter. So DD has today off to spend with little E. We are meeting them for a little shopping and lunch.
We have no water We have checked on FB and it's pretty widespread. No clue when it will be back. Luckily there was enough water in the filter jug for our morning tea!

Good Thursday morning everyone. The sun's shining here as well.

Lizzie, I hope you're soon on the mend. I'm sure you're being sensible - rest and lots of fluids etc - but sending you get well vibes as well.

Nanto, your OH is being a very brave patient. I'm sure he's just relieved it's all over. We had the same delivery time slot this morning, but they turned up at 8.45. If you're offering gravy with that toad in the hole, can I come and join you, please. I could just demolish that.

Gem, will little E be super-excited to be visiting his other grandparents? What a nuisance having no water. It's something I always dread - you don't realise how you take turning a tap on for granted until you can't!

I'm having a slow start to the day. I've only just got int a routine with having a pill Β½ hour before breakfast, then breakfast then other pills. After discussions with the vet, we've decided to put Eva on a supplement to help her liver, and it has to be taken on an empty stomach one hour before food! She's not allowed to crunch it up - it has to go down whole. It's testing my early morning ingenuity and ability to keep two timers going. Eva, of course, spends an hour wondering where her breakfast is, and it's the time of day I feel at my worst.

                      .
Daisy I hope you that you managed to get the medication task for Eva with success, I have been battling with Miss Daisy to get some drops in her ears the last few days, funny how they know.

Gem have a super lovely afternoon with GS3, missing all mine this week due to work and the little people being cared for by other family members, we will manage to see GS's 2&3 tomorrow for a little bit, send over their Easter treats. GD starts her 3 night performance tonight with her dance /theatre school looking forward to seeing her perform on Saturday Night. Will let you all know how fabulous the show iwas when I can

Wishing everyone very Happy Easter blessings, with your friends, family, nearest and dearest and also remembering the special ones who are no longer with us all.

A restful day for you , it will do you good just looking after yourself for a change.

                        Gem
I bet E gets spoilt at his other grandparents 😁

Nothing worse than getting up to no water , as Daisy said we take it for granted till we have none 😱

                        Nanto
Toad in the hole is a firm favourite like chips egg and beans 😁

                        Nannie
Did you enjoy your hot cross buns , I love them toasted dripping with butter 😁

                        Daisy
I have to take my insulin and one tablet half hour before breakfast, it's a nuisance especially if your hungry.
Poor Eva will be wondering what's going on. It's not easy to get them to take a tablet down whole is it .

MIL was in a good mood , she had her kitchen and stairs decorated yesterday so was happy about that.
Our Martin & Clare turned up so we had a good chat.
We took her a huge bouquet of flowers for her Birthday so I got them in a vase and she put them on her dinning room table, she seemed pleased with them.

We then went to Aldi on the way home as I have the hospital at 3 .

I wasn’t happy with the hot cross buns I bought from Marks, they were too spicy for me. I have someone coming to look at the garden about 4pm, I hope they can help with the gardening.

Daisy, I am sorry the pills make you feel unwell. Make sure you and Eva take the right ones.

Nannie NAnge, So sorry you will miss seeing the family over the weekend, I am sure they will make up for it after the weekend.

Oma, pleased to hear you had a good visit with Mil. I hope the hospital visit doesn’t take too long.

Daisy, getting Eva to take her pill brought back memories of getting our Great Dane to take any pills. She was very good at leaving a pill in the middle of an empty bowl, eating the cheese or ham supposed to be hiding it etc. In the end, we had to put it in her mouth, often through the side as the mouth was clamped shut, hold her mouth shut and stroke her throat until she was forced to swallow! Talk about being cruel to be kind!!

I hope that all our poorly people are soon on the mend. Sending love and best wishes for a Happy Easter however you're spending it! x

I didn't like M&S hot cross buns either, I thought they were too dry for my liking.

It would be rude not to try another one now wouldn't it 🀣🀣

I've had the shock waves done and have to go back in two weeks for another round,
                                I won't lie it wasn't pleasant ,
Quite painful at some points like thousands of needles been poked into your skin.
That was more when he really pressed down to get deep into the tissue.

Having said that it was bearable and didn't last long.
I will put up with anything if it helps but only time will tell.
I took pain killers when I came home as he said it could get worse before it gets better.

It was a case of putting my big girl knickers on and gritting my teeth 😁
