My sister has no idea what she's doing , she face timed me the other day but didn't know how to put it on

That's a good way to describe it, outdoor housework 😁
My SIL has no interest but my DD is a avid gardener,
Her idea of a good day is going to the garden centre and pottering in the garden.

It's came in quite dull and cold , I think we might get a bit of rain at some point.

Hallo everyone, I have had a very busy day.

Gd2 phoned yesterday if she could come for a meal, so, she came, I really enjoyed having her here and she enjoyed being here. I have measured them from when they could stand, kept a record etc, I did the same with my DS's, I measured her yesterday so now I can get the chart up-dated.

Oma, you will get a laugh at your sisters attempt with her new phone, at least she tries.

I went to aqua, on the bike with a neighbour from the first floor, she is complaining all the way about how others cycle, drive etc etc, I am used to it now, we were almost home when a young girl crossed in front of us to another street, she had plenty of time so not a problem, E said " look at that, not looking where she is going" etc, then, I saw what was going to happen, E lost her balance, hit a lilac tree in a garden and ended up stuck in a plant container!!! I can still laugh when I think of it, like a comic show, sat with her legs hanging over the edge of the container! I had to go back and pull her out! We both had to laugh, luckily she wasn't hurt, a good thing the lilac tree broke her fall

Daisy, I hope you are feeling better by the day, at least your DH is looking after you.

Plant, luckily Eva wears a tracking device anyway, so OH shouldn't get too lost! I'm like you, I'd much rather do what your DD calls outdoor housework than the indoor variety! But it's so frustrating when you can see what needs doing but can't manage it for whatever reason. OH did a really good job weeding the border this morning, but he now has blisters on his hands and his knees ache! Our soil is heavy clay, and it's rock hard. We'll water tonight, but I think I'll have to get loads of mulch/compost on there. Good luck with finding a gardener. It's not easy, unless it's for lawn care or trees and hedges.

Oma, I can just picture your GS and Lucie tucking into their Lindt bunnies. They're still children at heart. At least your Sister is having a go at conquering the technology. I'm sure she'll get there soon.

Lizzie, our posts crossed. Your friend's little mishap would make a great comedy sketch. Poor lady, but thank goodness she wasn't hurt and could see the funny side of it. I think it's very special that your GDs love to drop in on you so often - you've got a great relationship with them.

I remember years ago my sisters Christmas tree fell on top of me as I was sitting on her sofa ,
There I was covered in baubles and tinsel not able to move, all they could do was laugh at me,

I can't believe i haven't been back here all day.

Hubby is doing well. He's done a couple of jobs,but nothing where he had to bend or stretch.
I kept a close on him,because he's one that will not always be told.
The grass has been cut,and rest of garden tidied up.

Nanto, it's good to hear your hubby is doing so well, but I think you're right to keep an eye on him - before you know it he'll be up to mischief. I'm sure you feel more reassured now, though. You can't help being anxious when someone's having an operation, especially if it hasn't been planned well in advance. Take care, both of you. xxx

I have just been reading about your new bins being delivered on Monday and some have a golden ticket inside.

Nanto, I hope your hubby enjoys his trip ito town with his pal. I'm sure you will have mentioned for him not to get too tired, but it's good he's determined to do normal things. Life happens, and we can't all always post - you've had other things going on, so don't worry. xxx

Oma, your bedroom looks beautiful - very calm and elegant. I think your upholstery looks very professional and I like the colour scheme. I like pink, but haven't got anywhere with a pink theme at the moment.

A beautifully made bed makes a bedroom look special I think. I'm afraid ours never looks as tidy as I would like.

Gem, it's nice and sunny here, so I hope it's the same for S out on the golf course. Enjoy your day with gS2. Perhaps he'll have some ideas of what he wants to do today.

We need to go to the garden centre for a few bits and pieces, but at the moment I don't feel like it - I can't every remember being reluctant to go there! I'll see how I feel after a shower.

The wood arrived so did my new clothes prop,
It's an extendable one weighing nothing but came in a huge box
Even the Evri van driver said is the box necessary its so light.

I went upstairs earlier and stood on a staple we had used yesterday ,
It embedded in my foot and it was a ouch moment,
I wouldn't care but the bedrooms were hoovered this morning, trust me to find the one that got away 🥴

Oma, the headboard and footstool look lovely.
I'm a pink person,but a couple of weeks ago we saw a pink car in the car park, and it didn't suit it.

We both got what we wanted in town this morning.
It was quite chilly though, not used to it after the nice weather we have been having.
Hubby bought me a bunch of flowers,but it should have been the other way round shouldn't it.
