Gem, the kittens' personalities are starting to show themselves, aren't they. It must be fascinating watching them. Sensible Moses, checking that the door hadn't disappeared.

Oma, Storm knows he'll get a treat! All the dogs who visit our house seem to know exactly where the frozen sprats are - they always seem to be the favourites. It's nice to get some new bits and pieces for the tree, isn't it. I think our tree is looking a bit tired. We've actually got two but only put one up now the grand children are older, and that tree must be 30 years old! The 'new' one is about 20! Thank goodness your SIL's fire scare was a false alarm.

Lizzie, your DS1 certainly does a lot of travelling with his job. Does he find it tiring, or does he enjoy it? It must be a big worry about the temporary lift. I hope the usual one is soon back in operations. I hope the person who needed the ambulance was ok.

Plant, I hope you've felt a bit better as the day wore on. Are you eating ok? It sounds as though you were hungry, but if you're feeling poorly and don't fancy anything it's hard to know what to have.

It stayed fairly sunny and dry while I pottered in the garden. I was very pleased to find a couple of bits that had broken off two plants in the garden a while ago had rooted. I just stuck them in water on the kitchen window sill. Hopefully they will survive being potted on. I'm keeping them in the kitchen to give the roots a chance to settle down in the soil, then they can go out into the summer house. I planted some Allium bulbs I'd forgotten about. Our lovely neighbour cut the lawn for me and I swept the patio. By mid-afternoon it was getting cold so I came in. I've just taken Eva for a little walk and it's been raining, so I'm glad I did the sweeping up!

Good morning, Daisy GS1 does get to see the world, he does enjoy it though and it never seems to tire him, he does fly business class though so gets the chance to sleep on the flights, he always plans one or two days for himself, DIL has always agreed with that, if he is there he may as well enjoy it! He sent me some lovely photos of his day around New York yesterday.

Oma, if the lifts are not working, or even from a second floor bedroom, the fire brigade will arrive with a "flat-bed lift".

Gem, the kittens will enjoy the outdoors.

Oma, the shops and stores etc here, you see nothing but Christmas lights etc.

I am doing coffee this morning then aqua this afternoon, I hope our young man is there today.

        Good morning.

Lizzi, it must be worrying with only having a temporary lift.
Oma, glad it was a false alarm where your sister lives.

Snow is forecast for us today. Some say it's due tonight, some say it's due this afternoon. Either way, I'd rather not have any.
Its very cold this morning, temperatures have certainly dropped.

Plant, hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Dinner is cod in breadcrumbs, baby potatoes, veg and parsley sauce.

          Good Monday morning, everyone.

Nanto, What cute kittens. I love the expressions - wonder what they could be saying. It sounds very wintery round your way. I hope the snow doesn't settle though.

Lizzie, it's good DS1 enjoys his travelling and likes having a bit of time to explore. Business class does take some of the stress out of the journey as well. Fingers crossed your nice young man is taking the aqua class today.

OH has a hospital appointment this morning and I've said I'll go with him. He's got a little growth under his eye and last time the GP referred him he only saw a young man who took a photo of it and then the consultant said it didn't need removing without even seeing OH. But it catches on his glasses and is in his line of vision when he's reading. He's constantly rubbing it as well. So I think OH wants me there to make it clear that it is a problem and even the doctor at the General has said it should be removed.

I need to get some washing in as well, although no chance of drying outside today.

Good morning everyone. Very frosty here overnight.

            Cute kittens Nan2

Lizzie, non working lifts are a liability in emergencies. I hope your aqua instructor is there this morning. It does make a difference who takes the classes.

Daisy, they generally advise having anything which is in the way or bothers you removed, so you and OH are right to insist. I hope all goes well today.

Aqua for me this morning . My friend M is coming for coffee this afternoon, and to see the kittens. OH was to be playing golf, but her playing partner's OH isn't well so they have postponed.

              Morning ladies

              Nanto
We had frost this morning the cars were covered.
such a sweet graphic to wake up too 😁

              Daisy
If that little lump is a problem it needs to come off especially if his glasses are rubbing on it .
just as well you got the garden cut and the sweeping done , another job out of the way.

GS not in Uni till 3 today so instead of travelling down last night , he’s coming for breakfast then driving to Leeds from here.

I Really lost my temper this morning with myself I will put a thread on about it

Daisy, i think that lump needs removing.

Not snowing here yet. Had plenty of sunshine this morning.
Changed the bedding and got it washed. Wasnt totally dry,but almost.
                Bedrooms have been cleaned.

Fingers crossed this time OH gets the lump removed! We saw the same person as last time who took took photos. One of ¾ of OH's face and a close up of the lump. I asked to see them! The lump photo, taken with a loup over a mobile phone was over-exposed and not sharp! But he explained that the Consultant has to see the patient and couldn't understand why OH had been discharged without being seen. So I'm now wondering if there was an admin mix-up somewhere along the way. He's assured us OH will see the consultant this time.

OH has now gone to visit a poorly friend and I'm getting a few odd jobs that have been piling up out of the way.

I need to take Eva out, so am hoping the rain will ease off before it goes too dark.

Daisy, I hope the consultant will agree that the lump on your OH’s face needs removing if it is in awkward place.

Lizzie, Good job your son enjoys travelling. Hope the lift situation is resolved soon. Enjoy your Aqua, hope it is your favourite instructor.

Gemini, those kittens know how to get an early feed, they will be growing fast. Enjoy your Aqua and the time with your friend.

Nanto, I am not sure in which part of the country you live, I think you are in the North so were threatened with snow.

I thought I had better let you know I am not much better, it is a virus of some sort. No cold symptoms such as runny nose, aching a bit, no sweats.Youngest GGS was here with his daddy yesterday but I dared not get close to him.

Oma, what a to do sewing on that button, you need a needle threader and a magnet to find that needle. Have a nice time with GS. I watched “Get me out of here” last evening and the person you know was very good and enjoying himself.

Plant, I'm sorry you aren't much better. These viruses can take their time to go away, and there do seem to be an awful lot of them about at the moment. The one thing they seem to have in common is to make the victim feel tired and lethargic.

What a shame you missed out on cuddles with GGS yesterday.

Nanto, I hope the snow isn't too bad.

As Daisy says Plant, there are a lot of these viruses about and they can linger on a bit.

I hope you and Eva avoided the rain Daisy.

                          No snow here Nan2.

Good morning. Well we've got about 3 inches of the white stuff.
I was going to post a photo I took at 3o'clock this morning, but i need to resize it.
I couldn't sleep, so I got up for a cuppa.

Hubby usually meets his pal on a Tuesday, they go for what we call the Tuesday market, but its cancelled.
I was going to go for a few bits from the indoor Market and the shopping centre. I wasn't desperate for anything, so not to worry.

Took a homemade mince hot pot out of the freezer yesterday,so that's dinner sorted. I think I'll serve some cabbage with it.

Plant, do you think you could have covid. Hope you feel better soon.

Good morning Nan2 and everyone else.

                              Plant get better soon.

Nan2 I was up for a while at that time too. Taking painkillers and using a heat pad for my shoulder.
                              Massage tomorrow, I can't wait!

It snowed here overnight, just a light covering this morning. I saw it snowing when I went to the loo during the night and it was very pretty.
Golf competition cancelled because of it though, so OH will be disappointed.

Library this morning and GS1 this afternoon.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone. We've got the wet stuff, but no white stuff.

Nanto, the snow does look pretty while it's falling, especially at night with a few lights to catch the snowflakes. Dinner sounds right for a cold snowy day.

Gem, I hope you got back to sleep when the painkillers kicked in. I suppose even a light covering of snow makes gold impossible. I hope your day goes to plan. Eva and I got wet yesterday, but we both needed a good walk, and it was very quiet and peaceful. OH got back from visiting his friend at the same time as me so he towelled Eva dry while I sorted myself out.

Plant, thinking about you and hoping you slept well.

WeeGranny, how are you? Thinkg about you, too, but don't worry if you're not up to replying. I hope the physio exercises are going ok and not too painful.

No specific plans for us today, but plenty of jobs that need doing.
