Morning, a bit late from me, no real plans. It is my GGD1’s 5th birthday today, I expect the family will be going to celebrate it but I will stay at home this year. Pain not good atm. The family live backing onto WG so not far.

Oma, You must be so relieved that your Mil feels she might not be able to manage at home now. You do keep your Sil busy.

Nanto, have a nice lunch out, no cooking today.

Gemini, Enjoy your meal with your friends. Kite flying sounds good, enjoy.

Oh Enfys Much love and gentle hugs to you. Things can only get better as they say xxxx

I hope your GGD has a lovely birthday Plant.

No kites to be seen, despite us driving 40 miles to see them. About a 3rd of the way there a deep mist descended and was even worse when we got there. Oma, there were stall but we didn't get to see them.
We had a drive around and had a pub lunch on the way home, then a walk on the common next to OH's golf course. It was lovely and sunny back over here!

Gem, we go away in the middle of October. I did post about it earlier in the week, when we booked it,but no-one commented.
What a shame you didn't see any kites.

          Plant,happy 5th birthday to your GGD1.

Gem, what a shame you didn't get to see the kites, never mind, you had a nice lunch out!

I have just ordered myself 2 pair of jeans, I love the Mustang ones, they were on offer so I had to get them!!

I went on the bike to the goat farm and had a lovely lunch there, old cheese made on the farm and delicious butter milk that they make there as well. It was very busy with the lovely weather 25+, mind you, it is always busy. I see that it will be 15 degrees next week so I will need my jeans.

I must have missed your post as I can’t remember seeing it 🙄
Ive just scrolled back and found it on page 14😁
Alicante very nice, are you going for one or two weeks?

              Enfys
              Oh you poor thing ,
Thats how MIL broke her back missed her footing then two weeks later did the same thing and broke her hip.

Did they X-ray your hip? Not what you need to start a holiday, will you be able to fly in a few days?

              Plant
Your wise to stay home , a house full of little people isn’t good when your not feeling your best is it.

              Gem
Shame about the mist but the day wasn’t wasted was it , a nice pub lunch to make up for it 😁

Oh poor Enfys. That sounds a horrible accident. What a thing to happen just at the start of your holiday. Please rest as best you can. I’m sure your DD will make sure you take it easy.

I hope anyone who is poorly or in pain soon feel lots better.

Thank you everyone. Oma, we’re in Devon so no flying necessary 😀.

Oma, we are going for four nights. To get hubby to go for a week is impossible.

Not a great start to your holiday Enfys! It's easily done though. I have still no idea how I fell two weeks before moving house and broke my nose and wrist. I was not a pretty sight! Take it easy for the rest of your holiday.
Have arrived safely in Dubrovnik after a delay taking off thanks to yesterdays storms. It is absolutely beautiful here and the weather is glorious. Trip to Dubrovnik tomorrow. I shall take my stick with me as we've been told there are a lot of steps to climb and I know my hip won't like it!
I shall check in as and when!
                      Take care ladies xx

Hello, everyone. We got back from two weeks of a very "interesting" holiday about 4.30. It's lovely to be back online with your all and I shall have a lovely time sometime tomorrow (probably between force feeding the washing machine with loads and loads of washing) catching up with every thing.

Enfys, I have just read about your accident though and send love and best wishes for a speedy recovery. It sounds awful, but could have been so much worse. It's a dreadful shock when something like that happens though, and I feel for you. xxx

Wee Granny - have a wonderful time. And anyone else who is on holiday - as I said I'll catch up soon.

                        xxx

Good morning. A bit gloomy outside, hope it brightens up.

Hubby gone with his brother to a car boot sale.

I've got a load of cabbage to freeze.
They were only 50p at the garden centre. Lovely and fresh, and big as dustbin lids, when we used to have dustbin lids.

Took a homemade ready meal out of the freezer yesterday. We are having mince and veg hotpot with some of the afore mentioned cabbage.

Good Sunday morning, everyone, and thank you for the lovely welcome back banner, Gem. xx

It's just stopped raining, but I think the chances of getting any washing dried outside are very small!

Nanto, I think cabbage is such a good buy at any time, but yours sound like a real bargain.

No plans for us today - just trying to catch up online, do washing and all the odds and ends I left before we went away. It's too wet at the moment to clean the caravan so that's a job for another day. I always clean the sink and bathroom while it's still connected on site - it's easier! so it's mainly dusting, hoovering and tidying to do.

I'll write a bit about the last two weeks in a separate thread later.

I hope the holiday makers are having good weather - Dubrovnik always looks lovely but the steps sound a bit daunting.

Morning everyone, very gloomy here. Not much chance of it changing.

Dil’s birthday today, doubt I shall see her as they only got back from holiday last evening.

Daisy, looking forward to hearing about your holiday.

Nanto, I presume you have to cook the cabbage before you freeze it.
