Hope all is going well in Birmingham.

It was very warm yesterday and the forecast is warm again for today

I don't think we have any plans for today. We'll just take the day as it comes.

Dinner will be chips, cold beef and beans.
There is half of the joint left from yesterday.

mine and Gems journey was a nightmare . Two trains cancelled so that had a knock on effect once we got to York it was standing room only Gem had to stay in another carriage she couldn't get to me . Anyway we here now and ready for today 😁

I'm having my morning tea in bed before showering and going to breakfast. Escape Rooms for us today and dining at The Ivy, almost next door, tonight.

The Escape Room was great fun but sadly we had to be let out!

It’s hot and sunny here which is great until you find yourselves having to wait ages for a taxi back to the hotel. 😠

We had a snack lunch in the hotel and more socialising in Plant’s lovely posh room.

As Gem mentioned we’re going to the Ivy tonight which we’re all looking forward to. 😁

Going to change the bedding and get it washed, will clean upstairs before it gets too warm.

I am pleased you all had a good few days together, you will have to settle in at home now Plant!

It is so hot here, yet again! I am going away next week, luckily the forecast says a few degrees cooler.

I'm home too

DD1 met me on the platform and we drove to collect GS1 from school. We enjoyed a Magnum in car while we waited!
DD dropped us at my house and went back to do a couple of hours more work.
GS enjoyed his first day of Year 6.
Tesco delivery arrived and GS helped me bring it all in.
I had ordered moussaka , so we we will have that with salad for an easy meal tonight. GS has had his favourite tortellini.

OH came in from golf, had a cuppa and has gone back to the club for the monthly golf committee meeting. Eventually we will get to sit down and chat about our trips!

I’m home too, came in emptied my case and jumped in the shower.
The train was boiling,
My ankles are like puddings so I’m now sitting with my feet up .

B bless him had done all the housework washed ironed and had painted all the doors and skirtings while I was away and had a lovely meal in the slow cooker ready for tea ,
