GS1 day today. I leave home at 11 to collect him from preschool. Bringing him back here for lunch and the afternoon as usual. Rather than DD collecting him after work we will get the bus into town and meet her, then go to Ask for tea.

I feel as though I am starting a cold, but trying to ignore it!

Good Monday morning, ladies.

It's raining here - but we were very lucky over the week-end with lots of sunshine.

Oma - I'm sure dogs sense things we can't. But it's very sad. x I hope the traffic isn't too bad.

Plant - what a lovely party, despite being a bit chilly. It was putting the heating on that made you fall asleep. LOL I used to love photographing family events like this. I always remember one event, I was doing some 'candids' and when the lady who had booked me saw the pictures she was overcome with emotion at one of them - her father and mother talking to each other and laughing - they hadn't even spoken to each other for years. You feel very privileged being part of someone's special day like that.

Gem - your day sounds similar to mine in terms of grandchildren! Usually we are rushing at the end of the day to get to dog training at 7 pm, but we've been promoted to the advanced class, which is 9 - 11 pm. I'm not sure how Eva (or us) will cope, but we'll do our best. I think it was more that the space was needed in the beginners group, rather than us being ready for the challenges of the advanced class, but the trainer has promised to take it gently! It does mean a very late end to the day for us, and with an early start on Tuesdays I think I will be a walking zombie by Tuesday evening.

Back from Hospital another two weeks off and he can have some dental treatment as his bloods are so good , his Bone Marrow is 100% Martins but his immune system is still mostly his, so providing the Graft V host has cleared by next time we go they are going to give him a boost of our Martins said its unusual having so much G V H and still having his own immune but he's never done anything by the book has he

That's good news Oma. Will he be able to have the dental treatment at his dentist or will it be done in the hospital. A few days holiday sounds a great idea. 😘

We will try for a few days somewhere He rang the Dentist he can squeeze him in on Friday , he's had lots of check ups but wasn't allowed to have fillings only temp ones , or any other work but Dr said this morning go for it now in case they do do the top up . He has a discoloured filling in his front teeth due to the chemo he's conscious of but not sure if they will have time to do that as he needs a couple of filling that's more important .

Oma, good news for B. the dog must have known his friend had gone.
Been a day of sunshine and heavy rain, according to the forecast it's going to be bad all week.
Enjoyed our meal at the pub, beats cooking any day.

Oma that's touching about B's friend 's dog , it an odd sort of way it's could be a comfort for the family, two friends together it were.
Good news about B's progress even if it does involve a trip to the dentist!

Last night I regretted putting the summer duvet on the bed, it was a little cold last night but didn't need to put the heating on but I'm not sure if that will be the case today because if Nana2 is right the weather isn't set to improve. It was so windy we had to take the hanging baskets and wind chime down ( The wind chime was getting on our nerves ) I even had to move the olive tree into a sheltered spot away from the wind. Qwerty you know what will happen, the weather will go from one extreme to another....hot July ....We'll see . 😉


Not entirely sur what we will do today , if there is a break in the rain I will mostly probably make a dash to the library and shops .
