Hopefully I am get outside today and try and rescue my plants that were battered down by Friday's hail storm . Later this afternoon we are going to 'take tea' in a hotel in town so I am going to have to force myself to eat scones with cream and sticky cakes ! It's a hard life I know 😉😆

Good Monday morning everyone.

It's a busy day for me as it's the only chance I have to get everything ready - clothes, toiletries, food etc - for the caravan, before picking GD2 up from playgroup at 12. It's dog training tonight and I know I'll be too tired to do anything else when we get back! I shall need this little holiday by the time we get to Wednesday.

Good morning all.
It is almost impossible to siphon petrol from newer cars!! She gave up. We have an alternative plan. Rather than me going for GS1 in my car as usual , we will go together in her car. As it is an hours round trip, it will use of some of the petrol, then she will go for the new car.
GS1 for me all day. He has been very unwell with a virus and today is his first morning back at preschool. I think he will be tired and want quiet activities this afternoon.

Morning all a quiet day for me feels like a day off from work lol 2 loads of washing drying niceely in the breeze, kitchen to clean before LOs tomorrow , picking eldest up from school and bringing her for tea saving some for mummy who gets into Leeds from London at 7 tonight, Dsil arrived In Portugal yesterday I don't know how they both do it must be the salaries they all earn that motivates them I couldn't do it ! This must be working life these days as many on here have sons and daughters working away from home, thank goodness for the grandparents I say
Another trip to the hospital then Oma phew
Gem maybe you can get into the garden today with LOs I'm hoping for that tomorrow morning and then to playgroup in the afternoon
ever mind the petrol just think of that new car turning up you will get over it but it is annoying

Very, very warm here, off to bowls this afternoon, good job it is inside and short mat. Went this morning to get an estimate for my prang to be repaired, not good news, I was hoping not to involve the insurance company. Came back and the young ones took the furniture out of my sunlounge so that I could hoover all the cobwebs and wash the floor, the rug is in the washing machine and the furniture will go back later. Window cleaning another day me thinks.

Warm here, but i don't think it's as warm as predicted.Sun been in and out all day.Dried the washing though.
At one point, the wind got up, and it felt like what i call a rainy wind.

We came back from Hospital swept the patio hovered the turf and I bleached the fence to get rid of the green mouldy stuff ready for it being re painted on Friday , came in and popped to M&S , came back to find the wind had got up and the lawn was full of leaves and brown leaf husks again I give up
B doing ok apart from Graft V Host still a pain in the bum , but the good news is we have two weeks off don't go back till 5th June YEY
