Today is the day we shall see the light.....The electrician is due to fix the light in the hall !

We didn't go for tea at the hotel yesterday as the weather wasn't nice. The hotel has beautiful gardens and we were planning to eat outside so we plan to go next week hopefully the rain will have stopped.

Morning ladies been to shopping centre get a few things I needed , Dental floss sticks , Bread , Milk etc same usual things , then had my eyebrows threaded I no longer look like a Yeti was going to have my top lip done but last time it was red and sore for days so didn't bother will sort it myself .
Then went pick Storm up he was at doggy day care yesterday so will sleep all day today .
My Niece feeling like a new woman today she said , the antibiotics are working obviously
Very dull but stuffy , have a good day ladies whatever your doing ,

Good morning everyone, sunny here at the moment, need to pop out to Post Office with returns parcel and take paper to recycling bins.

Went to JL yesterday with eldest GD, she is not riding at the moment so as Monday is her day off we go to pics or shopping. We finished up at JL, had lunch, on GM of course and then spent some time with our new baby, he is growing so fast and will be eight weeks on Wed. Whilst we were waiting to be served in JL I noticed a television stand/cupboard in amongst the reduced items of furniture, as I hate my black glass one I went and had a look and it was £750 reduced to £230 so just had to have it, it will go very well with my furniture, being delivered this week.

So pleased your niece is feeling better Oma

Rainy here and OH is on the golf course Playing in a competition, but it is getting heavier so I don't know if they will abandon it.
I have a client to go to late afternoon, and will pick up prescriptions and library audio books and go to see my mum after lunch.

Good heavens just as I posted about the electrician due today he was there on the doorstep . I was his first call of the day, he said he only lives down the road from us hence why he was early .
He did a tidy job and what little mess he did do was soon cleaned up by him.

I have finally finished the decorating, you have my permission to sit me on the naughty step if I even as much as hint that I am about to pick up a paint brush and start decorating again
I'm at a loose end now, its raining out side so I won't be doing any gardening today. What shall I do with myself , I suppose I could go and make a cottage pie with the left over roast beef but I must remember not to get side tracked

Thanks Nan2. I'm sure it will go well. Sent info' from my optician by email to his secretary yesterday & she said it was on his desk ready for him to look at when he got in this morning.

Evening all try as I might I struggle to get on here I promised my therapist I would take it easy but easier said than done, OH feeling better with his illness
but seems a bit depressed which he does suffer from, the twins hav been today it's tiring for us both when the weather is naff and we can't get out with them although I took them to playgroup but I've been going there on and off for 5yrs seems soooo long a time
Took delivery of a new microwave this morning unpacked it and there is a 5 inch dent on the top no damage to the box it came in so must have been put in like that, they offered to knock me £14 off told them they were having a laugh so new one coming Thursday
Opticians tomorrow need new glasses getting as blind as a bat so bank account here I come 😢
Oma glad niece is feeling better but will be a long haul I feel
Tired now so off for a nap while OH cooks tea
