perfect drying day so stripped the beds put them in Wash went for some shopping and to post couple of parcels , came back and they were ready to go out on line , sunny warm and breezy so shouldn't take long to dry 😊

GD got a wonderful end of Year 1 report. I knew she would, but it's still nice to see!

Sunny, windy and hot here. OH on the golf course, probably being burnt and blown about at the same time! We are eating out with friends tonight. Today I am gardening, colouring my hair and catching up with recorded programmes.

Oh I have a headache , Having my utility re tiled next Saturday but all the old tiles have to come off and new plasterboard put on as it's coming off with tiles , very messy and the noise I'm unbelievable , can't get into downstairs loo as it's stacked with boxes of tiles ,adhesive, new high gloss wall cupboards, edging strips , tools etc etc , it's only a little utility but boy is there a mess , sick of hearing hammering now . I have been upstairs ironing clothing and bedding thinking I wouldn't hear it so much but it's no better up there 😲

Afternoon everyone.
Sending everyone who needs them lots of (((hugs))). We seem to go along quite nicely for a while and suddenly our family and friends take a turn for the worse. I hope they are all recovering now.
I' m pleased to report that DD and GS were discharged from hospital late yesterday evening. She was told she could go home at about 3.30 yesterday afternoon but it took ages for them to get all the paper work done ! No surprise there then,
Really excited because we are actually going to see our new GS on Tuesday.I'm really looking forward to having a cuddle with him and checking to make sure DD isn't doing too much. We will also get to meet our other GS from school. (Even if he has told his mum that he is too tall for anyone to meet him from school, he is a big boy and he can come home on his own. ) Don't think that's going to happen any day soon as he is only 5.
That day will also be our eldest GS 's birthday he will be 15 . So it's a celebration all round.

Turned into a very hot day here, with a nice breeze. To hot for working in thats for sure.

Very warm but windy day here. Meal out this evening with the family, very amusing because the youngest GD was working at the restaurant and actually waited on our table. DD off to Prague tomorrow with the orchestra and choir from the school where she works.

Got Storm today waiting his arrival , Josh has another football tournament today so Storm can't be left that long on his own if it rains we won't see him he will just lie in the garden he loves that weather , have a good day ladies xxx

Oma, how long have you got??!! To cut a long story short, she has probably torn the tendon to her thumb, meaning she can't bend it and gets a shooting pain if she grasps something with that hand. Fortunately it's her left, and she is right handed. Options were move tendon from ring finger ( which could also snap due to age) havean operation to make the thumb permanently bent, or do nothing. She opted for the last one. If she changes her mind I can ring the surgeons secretary.

I'm going over to mums to do some gardening today, nothing else planned really.

Awww it must be painful for her , trouble is at her age does she want to be going through operations , but I guess if it gets too bad maybe she will opt for that xx

Got DS and family for late lunch today just about to make a rhubarb and apple crumble have a good Sunday ladies , Gem hope mum gets sorted soon, my friend is home from hospital has 5 dys of radiotherapy on the brain onwards we go .
