Morning. Safe journey to all travellers. Everyone's plans seem to be going well. πRest day for me today. After Lionel evening it was my GS's sports day the following day. No brainer....of course I had to go. Consequently I will be in bed till lunch time. Worth every aching joint it's been so worth it.

Afternoon all. On a day when there has been so much said, a lot of fear for the future I can only apologise and state that..... For me it has been a much better day than the past week. Although I am dealing with a few family 'issues ' here and I don't see that coming to an end any time soon my blasted hay fever hasn't been so bad today. I have managed to do some gardening and cleaned a few windows before I had another attack of the sneezing.
Hope all those traveling away this weekend have a lovely time and the sun shines on you. Xx
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Not much going on here this morning, waiting for DD to get out of bed and maybe a bit of lunch and retail shopping, been awhile, she was out partying last night so probably be dinner time when she surfaces...not complaining she has not been well at all last week, OH doing a 12 hour overtime shift bless him, doesnt get the chance now so has to grab it while it's there.....How does a child spell Love..........T.I.M.E

Good Saturday morning, ladies. Yes, the sun is shining here, too - but there are dark clouds looming.
Have a good journey, Gem.
I'm making a birthday cake today. My DS1 will be 44 tomorrow and we're going up to theirs for a birthday lunch. The weather doesn't look good enough for a BBQ, so DIL is doing a roast instead. It's probably a better option anyway since DS1 is currently on his way back from San Francisco and may be a bit of a hazard driving a BBQ tomorrow if he's jet lagged. I said I'd make a gluten- and dairy-free cake and have just realised I haven't got enough Pure (spread). I may have to do a 15-20 mile round trip to get some!My own fault, I should have checked last week!

Afternoon ladies, well the weather cannot make up it's mind, we have had sunshine and showers all day. Washing has been in and out so many times I gave up and finished it in the tumble dryer. Apart from doggy walks and housework it's a quiet day. Work tomorrow"What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

Oma - DIL is a good cook - it will be yummy. I persuaded OH to do the shopping. I tried to get the spread in the village - Tescos have never stocked it and Sainsbury used to - but now don't because they didn't sell enough of it - yet there were at least 4 different varieties of Flora on the shelves, plus several others! Hey ho - as usual Waitrose (the next nearest) saved the day.
We've had the same rain and sun, LG, and I gave up on putting the washing out on the line."Joy is what happens to us when we allow ourselves to recognise how good things really are. "

Hello from CornwallThe journey wasn't too bad, but there were a few delays. We drove through alternating sunshine and showers. Satnav lady plus good instructions from the apartment owner meant we had no touble finding it. The sun is shining, off down the road to the local pub for a meal later.
