WHO SAID SHOPPING? Well now that will be your fault when I do it OMA!!!! Re soft close loo seats: husband insisted we had one of those when we had the new bathroom four years ago. Said he had always wanted one (news to me) but even now there is only one person who EVER puts the loo seat down in this two person household, to give you a clue, it is not him......

Morning ladies preping the hall stairs and landing to start painting them tomorrow , BIL coming after lunch to put up new security light in alleyway down side of house it's pitch black on a night if I need to put out bins for collection the next morning , He's also putting in a tap as at the moment if we need the hose around the front it has to go all the way around the house ,ok taking a huge hose from the reel but it's another thing winding it back up so this way will make it easier for me . Not a nice day again this end 😕

SIL called to me to tell me he was going to his mothers and he was leaving the dog out, I was still asleep, it was 11.20! I don't know whether to have breakfast or lunch.

I've been a bit poorly since Sunday, sore throat, aching back, extreme tiredness..... bah, humbug. Off to Portugal tomorrow morning very early, so may or may not be on here the next week or so, hopefully some sunshine will help.

Plant I cannot remember the last time I slept in late. My body clock has me up by 8am even when I am feeling exhausted. Usually I am awake by 6am.

DD3 came over for reflexology this morning. She is without a car at the moment so came on the bus, then I drove her home. I have a headache, so am relaxing a bit now, letting the painkillers kick in!

Picked up the new curtains today, for the hall and landing. I intended to iron them and hang them after I had put the shopping away.We had only been home about 10 minutes when nephew and his wife visited, so haven't got round to hanging them. A job for tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. We've got hazy sunshine and it's definitely a bit warmer.

I spent most of yesterday on the garden, and it does look a bit better this morning, but the house is a tip. We're going to lunch. OH's big sis is down from North Wales with her husband. They stay with their eldest DD in Southampton so we're going over for lunch, so at least I won't see what a mess the house is in - but my friend coming in to look after Eva will. I'd better have a quick dust and tidy up!
