Have taken the dog for little walk & it went from a shower to being very warm. It was lovely to hear the birds singing. Hope you all enjoy the day, whatever it is you're doing.

Well me and my wellies got the car out of the road, I had to go the long way around to the supermarket, lots of traffic, got there and drove around for ages to find a space, went to get a trolley and................ no purse!! I was planning on getting a couple of other things as well. Got back in the car and drove home (the long way again) and decided that me and my wellies would walk to the village shop and see if they had any jiffy bags as I couldn't be bothered to repeat all of that. I got them and came back only to find that some git had knocked the wing mirror off my car. It is a company car and if we do not have anyone to blame for an accident we have to foot the first £200 so I may as well pay for it myself. Well it never flipping rains but it pours as it is doing now......

I have worked 2 days on the trot, oh how heroic of me lol, now off until Monday. 2 days on the trot is unknown for me these days (semi retired) but Tuesday was a swop as I need the 23rd of May off. Friday we are having a new upvc door put in as although I love our wooden one it gets terribly ruined by the rain even those its had lots of varnishing, this is the door from utility to patio and at the same time he is cladding all the wood around the door frames. Weather after pm quite good here,sat out at 5.45 with a glass of wine on the patio and it's quite humid."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."Comment

Good Thursday morning, everyone. After yesterday turned out so warm, it's back to winter here, quite chilly and has been pouring with rain, but the sun is peeping though the clouds, so I hope it brightens up. Shopping for me today! Sigh! We're having a week of car problems. Mine went in to have the tracking done yesterday, but has to go back next week for something else and OHs broke down on our way back from dog training yesterday. Poor Eva was hot and tired, but it was too hot for her to wait in the car so I walked her back home, about a mile or so, quickly got changed and did the 20 minute walk to the surgery to get my painful thumb looked at, then walked back home again. My Fitbit was ecstatic! All those steps!

I have put washing on my new whirly washing line today. I had to go and buy some pegs as husband appears to have chucked the bag of pegs into the recycling bin along with the broken washing line. it was glorious here this morning after all the rain yesterday but it is clouding over now, I have more washing to go out so I dare Him upstairs to send rain............If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go togetherComment

Well your only up the road Daisy so I hope by now you have the sun and heat. Its really warm here now, took the dog out with my friend to the nature reserve, and muggins wore a lightweight sweater, I was boiling, came home now in crops and vest top. It has been very warm here today. OH and I went to the "pictures" and saw "Florence Foster Jenkins".We both enjoyed it but like Gem's transport home from her London trip our bus broke down! We had only just left the bus station so we were all escorted back to where we started with the promise of a replacement. We were all a bit sceptical as our route seems to be the poor relation of the Swansea area! The buses only run every hour so we resigned ourselves to having to wait but much to our surprise a replacement eventually turned up! We were only half an hour late getting home.Comment
