    Good morning everyone.

Nanto - glad you enjoyed your special day yesterday. Eating out again today sounds good. You could extend you birthday for weeks this way. I hope the kitchen work goes smoothly though. It seems to disrupt the whole house, doesn't it.

Oma - how is Brian? I hope today's visit is just routine.

I've got no commitments today - the whole day stretches ahead and the sun is shining, so I can get some washing out on the line, do some gardening, plant a few more things in the front garden, mow the lawn, do the back-up on my computer and play with Eva. Then after lunch ....... Hahahaha

    Have a good day, ladies.

          Good morning everyone

Good excuse to eat out Nan2!
Take some time out for yourself today, Daisy!
I too have been wondering about B, Oma. Is his mobility any better now the leg swelling is going down?

Another lovely sunny day I sat in DDs garden with her yesterday afternoon, cuddling baby T while M bounced on the trampoline, she even had her tea out there!

Little E is covered in chickenpox spots bless him. As I haven't had it, and baby T is so young, I am keeping away from E, I was due to look after him this morning.
Usual Thursday routine with my mum, but if she can't bear to drag herself away from the snooker to go shopping, I will do it for her.

          Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon everyone. Just had a txt from my cousin to say that my Aunty died peacefully last night. They had moved her into a nursing home on Tuesday. RIP Aunty A.xx

              Good afternoon every one.
Oma how did Brian get on at the hospital
Nan2, its a win win situation isn't it ? Having your kitchen decorated and going out for a meal. Result !
Daisy enjoy the sunshine while it lasts, according to the media we are all doomed come the weekend, winter is returning !

I have just ordered 180 hay fever relief tablets for just over £5 (p and p included) from Chemist 4u , I got the link via the Martin Lewis web site. I don't really know why I bother as nothing seems to work but I will only talk myself into feeling worse if I don't take any thing. Silly isn't it?

Nana- So sorry to hear about your Aunt.I'm glad it was peaceful.

Oma - Pleased all well at the hospital and that Brian is getting more mobile. What a rotten time he's been having.

We had a trip out to our local museums today. We haven't been for ages.At the old Museum there was a World War One exhibition, It was very interesting and moving.I especially was interested in the letters and cards sent home by the soldiers-always putting on a brave front when they must have been terrified.

Nana - sorry to hear about your Aunty, so soon after losing your own Mum. I think it does help a tiny bit if you know that she was peaceful. xxx

Oma - I do hope Brian's drive tomorrow goes well - he will feel so much better being more mobile. Thank goodness his leg is improving. xxx

Clover - Thos soldiers must have been unbelievably brave, and I'm sure their loved ones at home replied in the same way no matter what was happening to them. War is so futile, isn't it!

Needless to say, I didn't complete everything on my list, but i did install my new external drive and back everything up on to it, do a couple of loads of washing, cut the lawn and spend ages playing with Eva. It's forecast rain for tomorrow so I might even do some housework
