There's a strange big yellow thing in the sky over here. I think it's the sun! The wind's dropped too. Perhaps we can actually get out for a proper walk today - although I suppose it will be very muddy.

Morning ladies nice calm dry day bit nippy but the sun is out , washed the sofa and chairs down this morning and have the washer going not doing to much today DS bringing the two little ones later so don't want to be cleaning now then again after they have gone may as well wait , have a good day everyoneIm not fat just 6ft too smallComment

The sun is shining here too! It's a bit breezy, but it's bright
The blossom is almost fully out on the flowering cherry tree in the front garden the daffodils are ready to bloom, it seems like spring!

Was lovely here earlier on but now grey and cloudy. We are off to lunch shortly and I was just about to put some nail oil on and CALL THE AMBULANCE my bruddy little finger nail has split! I shall try to save it with superglue otherwise off with them all.If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go togetherComment

Zizi mine did the same thing the other day but it sort of split further up the nail so I glued it and then broke another nail so I have had to cut and file all my nails the glued one the split is over the nail bed so will have to wait till it grows to get rid of the split , it looks rather odd with a lump of glue on it but better than it getting caught and ripping off , I will go to boots tomorrow and buy a nail repair kitIm not fat just 6ft too smallComment

βI put superglue, smooth it over, wait for it to dry and then put a very thin piece of tissue paper and reapply the glue smoothing it over again. Then I put clear nail polish basecoat on. It usually works but sometimes my nails are too brittle.
Had a lovely lunch with husband in a little bistro overlooking Twickenham Green which has some lovely memories for me. Now I am very full up, three courses is a bit greedy I know but I couldn't resist

Raining here,about Β½ an hour ago, it was raining very heavily.

Did some baking yesterday with Rosie. We made 3 fruit cakes. Rosie taken one home with her,will take one to parents this morning, that will leave us with just one.
We like it with cheese on.

All seems calm here after the very heavy rain last night. It is cloudy though.
We have a Tesco order coming later. I planned to shop on the way to my mums yesterday. I then realised that we needed quite a lot, so asked Mr Tesco to bring it today instead.

Morning ladies just been to get a few bits from Aldi had the children yesterday and they cleaned me out of juice and crisps and cherry tomatoes π Would you believe I have nothing to do today everything spotless did ironing as it dried yesterday so not even that to do ,I'm not sure what to do with myself to be honest but I'm sure I will manage πdamp but not raining here,Im not fat just 6ft too smallComment
