Nana - Like Nanto, I'm sorry there wasn't more positive news. but at least they are looking at all the options, and they have to warn you about risk for any operation. My OH had to have a second lens put in on top of the original replacement. It's worked fine and the only legacy is slight dryness - so I'm sending you lots of positive vibes that you get a good outcome as well. xx

Another wonderful day of continues rain, getting a bit fed up of it now. It has been hubs plan to sweep and clean our patio and put our furniture under cover for winter- no chance of that.Quick dash to shop to get tne daily rags, home and drying out. Have several quilting projects to start most importantly the girls christmas stockings. Hope everyone is staying dry and warm. ZIZI send some sun over to blighty please x

We went to a firework display tonight. An organised one, with bonfire. The fire brigade were involved with the organisation, so it was the safest display you could go to

Getting rather anxious about my niece and her husband,they are stranded in Sharm el-Sheikh.
They were due to fly back to the UK early Saturday morning but they have no idea when they can return. All they have been told is that they can have a small bag each into which they must put any personal belongings that will fit in there. The rest of their luggage will be returned at a later date.
