It was a bolt from the blue Nana as I haven't had any cause for concern, no floaters or other signs. Hoping the consultant can throw some light on it. First time I have used this optician as well, will be sticking with him from now on.

Feel a bit down today, my very, very best friend is attending a London Hospital today for tests, she has cancer of the liver. She has had an enlarged liver for some time and now they have found nodules which they say is cancer. Next week she will be going in for a few days, they talked about burning them, the cancer is only in the liver. They have had a terrible year, her husband nearly died earlier in the year from bacterial pneumonia, still isn't well and now this. They are two of the nicest people I know, always on hand to help others and I don't forget how much she helped me when my husband died.What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stareComment

Plant I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. What a sad and frightening time for her. The fact that the cancer is contained within the liver is cause for optimism though . Wishing her all the best.

Oh Plant what can I say but I hope they have contained it and her treatment isn't too harsh , the thing about the liver is it can regenerate if they have to take part away . Fingers crossed for her and big hugs for you , good friends and family suffer too when someone they love have this damn thing xxxxxIm not fat just 6ft too smallComment

Well been another busy day for me.Cleaned,ironed, put away a very large asda shop that was delivered this morning.Made 1 large and 4 small chicken and sweetcorn pies for the freezer.must go and get them packed in the freezer now.Sometimes I forget to like posts,but that doesn't mean I don't like them.Comment
