GS day today. I'm catching up on here while we watch C Beebies
I hope you feel better soon mimi.
Oma my left knee has been bothering me all summer ( and on and off for a year or 2 previously ) I have started to rub ibuprofen gel onto it at bedtime, as like yours it can be painful at night.

Oh dear - all these aches and pains! We've done another stint on the allotment today and now I ache in places I didn't know existed! But it was a glorious, sunny day and incredibly we were the only people down the allotment. I think we're winning the Battle of the Weeds!

I hope everyone feels better soon.

        Good morning ladies.

Not sure what our plans are today, but I suspect we will be going into town, I heard hubby telling someone about an item he needs.

Good morning from me too. Today is the first day this week when I haven't got to go out, so I'm hoping to get some gardening done - well it's either that or the dreaded housework and ironing so I'm glad the sun's shining and I have the perfect excuse to be outside.

Good morning everyone. I hope you all enjoy your days.
Off to DD1s for tea tonight, and also to see GSs Big Boy Bed, which we have only seen in photos so far. He's very proud DD is vegetarian, SIL vegan. You never know what you will get, or how full you will be (usually not )

Good morning everyone, Daisy I have some gardening to do but at the moment is cold and dull here so could you send some sunshine my way, pretty please !
I was sorting through my purse today and I came across our theatre tickets from the other night. Upon closer inspection the woman behind the desk at the booking office put us BOTH down as concessions = senior citizen , she did this with out even asking if I qualify ! She went by appearances only, now I understand her thinking OH qualify, but ME ! Aggghhhh
She is quite clearly judging my age from the sneaky old woman who appears in the bathroom mirror every morning, I don't know who the hell she is but I wish she would go away
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I vote for the gardening Daisy, do the rest unmentionables on a dull wet day

I went to the butchers today, dropped in the dreaded Tesco on the way to get some kiddies magazines and e paper (even though I hate Tesco they are the best source around here for kids mags), after Butchers I dropped off at Joe and Sadie's as Joe left some clothes here last week. Sadie was out walking the dog with Daddy, I was standing in the sitting room talking with dil and they came up the garden path and all I heard was a scream "Daddy it's grandma, let me in let me in" so mummy opened the door and Sadie launched herself at me and nearly knocked me over!!

After that lovely cuddle I had to drive several miles to the car repair place. My car went in for service this week. I specifically reported that the back windscreen wiper needed replacing but they replaced the front ones instead. When I pointed it out they said they didn't have one in stock and they would call me, so they knew they hadn't done it and hoped I wouldn't notice. So I had to inconvenience myself and drive there for them to put it on today. Anyway I was still back by 9.45. Since then I have had a cup of coffee, read the paper, done the crossword, and taken delivery of a couple of pairs of smart shorts which I had forgotten I had ordered at the start of the summer. Not sure about them so will wait until husband comes in and get his opinion.

Rest of the day will be pottering around and doing some bits and pieces.

I hope you do have a lovely day, too, Nanto.

We're having a day catching up with things that didn't get done yesterday, including making chutney and putting part of our potato crop into sacks after checking them over for bad bits! Then tonight we are going to some friends for dinner and meeting up with some Scottish friends who we haven't seen for several years. Looking forward to that.

What is everyone else doing today?

Good morning from a sunny Bournemouth. Had a day with my craft group yesterday so DH got on with some painting jobs. Today not too much to do, just a general tidy up in my craft room (spare bedroom)

Daisy, I made a few pots of Apple chutney last week after a friend gave me a huge bag of lovely big apples. We've had apples every which way and I've frozen some too. Have sorted out some more jars so will make another batch this week. We love home made chutney 😍
