Wrapped all Erins presents, she is 13 om Monday but will be celebrating saturday as school day on monday.All meeting at pizza express her choice bless her. Wondering where those 13 years have flown to. From that tiny prem baby to a very intelligent young lady.

Thanks for all your best wishes my cold has clashed with a night out that has been planned for some months now and I'm going come hell or high water. I'm not letting a sore throat, runny eyes and aching joints stop me !!
We are off to the theatre to see The Barron Knights ( a blast from the past) . My only fear is I hope they don't make me laugh too much as I don't want to have a coughing fit. 😄

Well what a day it's been.Mam had a lovely birthday yesterday thank you. I had to go round early this morning this morning as she wasn't too good. Was feeling a lot better when I left.
Came home and eldest son arrived with his girlfriend. She has got family problems and wanted/needed to talk.I don't know/ never met any of her family, so all I could do was listen and try to offer a few wise words.When they were leaving J did say she felt better about things,which was good.
Made something to eat, then walked to the post office with hubby, the weather was/is beautiful. Had coffee when we got home.
Better go and catch up now.

Mimi - I remember the Barron Knights - they were always a great stage act and I'm sure they'll take your mind of your aches and pains. Perhaps one of Plant's brandies in the interval would do you good.

Nanto - I bet you Mum was tired after yesterday, but pleased to hear she's feeling better now. You must have a lovely relationship with both your eldest DS and his GF, and I'm sure she did feel better for talking things over with you. It must make her feel she has someone she can totally relay on.

Another glorious day here, despite a stiff breeze. After a trip to the vets for Clyde's check up for his eyes, we came home, had a quick coffee and went down to the allotment, which has been badly neglected just lately. The leek patch had almost disappeared under weeds, and the broad bean bed was knee high with them. But mostly annual weeds so a few hours on our hands and knees has made a huge difference and if the weather holds we'll go back tomorrow and finish it off. Then we can start getting the plot ready for winter.

Just had a new internet service provider install our wireless broadband, it arrives by microwaves (I thought you heated up your dinner in them ;-)! ) Wow, we've gone
from 0.4 mb/s to 6mb . Heaven!!

Had a lovely few hours down the beach seeing the illuminations ( mini Blackpool) and the fun fare sat having a hot drink and watching the world go by it was quite warm no breeze a bit odd for this time of the year at our coast

I think going out last night was not the best idea I have had. I have been awake most of he night with horrible ear ache and now I've got a rotten cough, it's a good job we haven't any plans for today.

Morning ladies just been out to do banking and get some shopping , very tired today knee hurting all night so not much sleep , got all the children coming at tea time ,pick Josh up from school then DS bringing other two so a noisy few hours no doubt , better take headache tablets now
