Oma , very kind of you to ask coincidently I have had a text to say he might get home tomorrow if they can sort out a hospital bed ! Neighbour is a SW , but we hadn't asked her for help , but she stopped me in the street at the weekend and was very sorry to hear Jim was still in care , she set different things rolling and the care package is organised , I am still in a daze , only heard half an hour ago . Visiting him later but won't say anything just in case !!Nurses say they won't believe it till the ambulance arrives !

All has been so stressful and miserable I haven't liked to post too much here and make others miserable too

aggie I understand how you feel but as Oma has said, writing it down and sharing will help and you are not going to make others miserable on here. I don't think you could find a more caring group of ladies anywhere than on here .

Bring me sunshine in your smile.

Another murky morning here but I expect the sun will soon shine through.
OH is visiting his brother this morning (not an easy visit as brothers Alzheimer's is getting worse) . I am going to the cemetery armed with lots of flowers as there are so many graves for me to tend to but needs must I suppose.
I will then meet up with OH and we will go and have a pub meal. (It's purely for OH you understand, he can't walk too far without feeling exhausted these days. It's going to be hell sitting in a pub , having to drink a glass of wine waiting for someone else to cook me a meal but I will struggle through it ) 😉

I'm loving your foggy photos, Nanto. This one looks like an Impressionist painting!

It's clear here, but depressing to see the mornings getting darker.

The dog has a date with the groomers this morning, so time for a bit of shopping while he's in there! I've got a bit of a list of art essentials, but I'm trying to not buy on impulse - just what I need right now. I might be so disappointed with what I produce I'll never lift a brush again!!!

Nanto - very happy birthday to your Mum - I hope she has a lovely day.

Mimi - your OHs will aprreciate the sacrifice you're making in going to the pub for lunch with them.

Good morning everyone. Misty agian, but the sun will shine! Tesco delivery this morning, hairdresser coming, then off to collect GD from school and back here for tea, as usual on Wednesday. After she leaves I have a sad mission. Taking mum to see one of her oldest dearest friends in hospital. She went into a nursing home recently, and is now in a side ward in hospital with kidney failure. Mum wants to see her again while there is time. Nan2, I hope your MIL has a lovely birthday.

Lovely and sunny again, need to go to the POffice and fill the car up with petrol, might do a bit in the garden. I wonder if Jane and Marc would like a day in the Chilterns!
