I have had a stroke of luck today. The homeless work placement programme I work with was looking for two admin placements as two of my sites pulled out (cross about that as they didn't let me know but whatever). I put a call out on Yammer company site and got two placements on a new site! RESULT.

I haven't had any disasters today ...... Yet. Let's see how the day goes.

Gggrrr put bins out this morning before I could bring them in after being emptied someone had put 2 lots of dog poo bags in, had to fish them out as couldn't reach them dirty devils if they had gone to the trouble of putting it in bags and they are local just take them home!!!!!!!!

Some people are so lazy

Around here they tie them on the bridges over the two man made rivers. Why? They look quite disgusting. Apparently in some of the parks they hang them on the trees.

So today I did lots of washing as the weather has been so nice, very bleach babe of me eh? My pretty pink towels that turned horrid pink and then I did a colour run soak on them and they turned peach have dried cream and the texture is not as nice. I might hand wash them in my wool hand wash stuff to see if I can get the absorbency and softness back. I have ordered some new pink towels, not quite as pretty as the original ones.

I have also done a lot of work. My new laptop is doing all sorts of odd things, I am just ignoring it all and as long as I can access the things I want to get to I don't care about the all singing and dancing bits. I did manage to get my emails back on my work phone though which has been bugging me for two weeks (thank you very nice IT man). I said originally I didn't want emails on my phone but I must admit it is very handy if I am travelling from one place to another. It is annoying when it "ting tings" to tell you there is a new email but at least that stops after 6pm. How does it know to stop? No idea! Bit like my TV control, if it is on for an hour or so during the day it will bring up a message saying you have to press OK to stop it going to sleep. It doesn't do that in the evenings however long the TV is on.

Good news is that I think I have beaten the cystitis. I am not holding my breath because it can flare up again but today has been quite good.

The back country lane where dog walkers go has a poo bin at the start/end of the walk. Even then some ignorant/lazy dog owners don't pick up their dogs poop. Shame on them!

There is also a green close by & there's a bin there too. On the pavements are painted signs re keeping the path clean & a fine to dog owners who don't. Maybe that could be my job...catching them & handing out fines. I'd love to fine people who park in disabled spaces too, when they're too idle to walk. 😁
