It's the sock gremlins Oma. They are frequently up to mischief in our house.
It's a lovely sunny day here. A bit of a breeze to keep the clouds rolling by
I had a nice surprise when I took about 20 bags of coins of various denominations into the bank today. They were mainly the odd coins that accumulate round the house or those small ones I turf out of my purse when it gets too heavy! Anyway the total was £52 pounds ! Mind you, they have been accumulating for several years but I was pleased non-the -less at the amount. A meal out seems to be beckoning!
The clocks go back at 2am Sunday 25th October.
Several times today the DJ on our local radio station said that it was now autumn !
In fact autumn isn't until around September 21st, whatever the weather conditions outside.
Morning everyone. I'm waiting for that monumental '1st day at school ' picture. GS1 starts today. Love to all the little ones out there starting the next stage in their young lives.

Good morning
Hooray for finding the lost sock Oma. Good luck for B today.
We have our pensions advisor coming this morning. We see him every so often. Then I need to try to work on some forum stuff.
No GD today as she is still in Greece.
I need to prepare the spare room for cat sitters when we go away on Saturday, and I want to paint an outdoor table and chairs, but we shall see it that gets done!

Very warm and sunny this morning.Got all my jobs done inside,so just been out and cut the grass. Some black clouds kept coming over, but fortunately they passed over.
I've just had a nice relaxing shower. There was no point going in first thing, knowing I would be gardening.
Pleased to hear the missing sock turned up.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Youngest GS started today school, well it's just mornings this week so DD picked him up at 12.
She was shocked to see that he is head and shoulders above the other children in his class. Now as a family we don't do 'tall' average and short are all we have been able to achieve so this comes as a surprise. He obviously gets his height from SIL . He is about 5ft 8 ( not that tall I know but compared to the rest of us ......) DD is 4ft 10 !
She asked GS if he had a nice time at school, he said yes and one of the boys from his class had some fruit for break and his mummy must buy it from Tesco because she left the sticker on the banana !
Aww, I hope he settles well and has a lovely time Mimi.
It seems no time since my GD was starting school last September. We don't do tall in our family either , but she was one of the tallest in her class!
