GS day today! going over to pick him up shortly .... cloudy and chilly here. Got a few 'errands' to do before coming back home. I've just set up the farm to play with when we get back. Hopefully his mummy will wax my eyebrows and top lip when she comes to collect him ready for my holiday, I am going to her Salon on Friday where I will have my nails done ready for our holiday next week.Grandmothers are just antique little girls - author unknownComment

Pants! I've spent ages writing a new thread 'Times change' re my GS1 leaving Nursery to start school next week & my GS2 starting Nursery on the same day but In a different town. Mummy is returning to work after maternity leave.
I went to post it & it appears I'm not human. I went to preview it & the avatar came up as 'guest'. I was asking if any other Grans felt aprehention too at these changes in life's journey?

Nana, I'm sorry you lost your thread. Often it if that happens, when you next go to that thread it says there is previous content, do you wish to restore or discard? If you see that, restore, and there it is.
I always feel a bit sad about Endings - leaving nursery, Primary etc.

OH driving us to Edinburgh today to watch Scotland v Italy rugger. Overnight stay in hotel then hopefully I can have a leisurely stroll around one of the art galleries before setting off for home tomorrow . Looking forward to it & now I'm off to pack my wkend bag.
