This week has mostly been spent waiting in for a delivery. Was promised Monday, it arrived Wednesday afternoon. Today I am waiting for Tesco delivery and a man who is going to replace the draft excluder on our back door, it's still under guarantee so under principle I am not going to do it myself !!!

I had 2 lovely days with some of my GRU friends, back to normality now (or what passes for normality around here )

It was raining here earlier but I have got the daily wash of 3pairs trousers and undies , two sheets and innumerable bibs .......... out on the line and just recovered them before the rain came out again . He is back in the chair after being persuaded that the bed was sinking in the west

Good morning everyone.

I've moaned on another thread about how dry my allotment and garden is, but perversely I want sun today to get washing dried and the lawns mowed. After that I will happlily accept all your rain clouds and leave you with a few days of sunshine! I've got a friend coming over from Australia tomorrow so she's in the middle of winter - it would be nice to make her feel at home! Snow forecast anywhere?

OH and I had a couple of things to do in town this morning. We then bought sandwiches and drinks and sat in the park behind the Minster to eat them. Not the park in which Oma rolled down the hill I thought of my GRU friends who I spent time with in the same park a few days ago

Out to eat with a group of friends for someones birthday tonight.

Not been out shopping today.Hubby had a couple of jobs to do in the garden.So, I have cleaned bedroom window frames and the windows, changed all the curtains.Washed and dried the curtains I have taken down.Does make the rooms look nice when the curtains have been changed.
Out for a meal tonight for hubbys birthday,it was yesterday but the restaurant was fully booked. Taking granddaughter with us.Table booked for 7o,clock, so she will start getting ready any minute.

We recently had new curtains in our bedroom and I put the old ones into my study/the GC's room and the room looks quite different. Just got to get new bedding now, but it's quite hard finding something that seems 'right' for the whole age range of GCs (12 yrs to 18 mths).
