Daily Mail reported that a ticket for men's single Wimbledon game was £2,667! Enjoy Gemini & OH. I envy you just going. I'd love to experience the atmosphere.
To any Grans experiencing anxiety for one reason or another I hope it helps you to know all your Gran friends on here think about you & wish you some peace somewhere in the day.x

I was awake at 2AM as well Mimi.We got a new bed yesterday, maybe that's why I kept waking up during the night.

Went to spend a'penny' several times in the night only to discover on my last trip the cistern won't flush, just what I need with two GC staying with us this weekend and eldest DS arriving tomorrow . !!!

Oh no, hope you get the loo sorted quickly.I don't think it was the new bed that kept me awake.Thinking back, it was a normal night for me.

It's raining here this morning also.
The loo is fixed, I was hoping for a new toilet, wash basin and walk in shower but all it needed was a new handle for the cistern. !
GC have gone home and soon to be replaced by eldest GS who is worrying me a little, he is very down at the moment and suffering with dreadful excema ,he says his face is peeling and so I am dreading seeing it. He has an appointment with his GP but not until 3weeks time, that's the soonest they can fit him in, the situation with the NHS is getting worse by the day .

                  Good morning everyone.
I'm glad you got the loo fixed Mimi! Poor GS with his excema

We will be driving home today, having had a good time. It was a lot of driving for OH in a short time though. Loads of roadworks, so the journey takes so long. We generally travel to London by train, 2 hours, no hassle. I don't know why she opted to drive this time. But she says never again LOL.

That is dreadful Mimi, to have to wait three weeks just for an appointment, no wonder he is feeling down. Granny cuddles might make him feel a bit better.

Don't know why I put worried about eldest GS when it should be eldest DS .
He is such a lonely, shy person and this skin problem is not helping him one bit. Wish I could make everything better for him

It's pouring with rain here, its forecast to be a rather unsettled week but the newspapers are telling us not to worry, the soaring temperatures will return by the weekend..... And then they will tell us to worry because the soaring temperatures have returned and we are all doomed!!!!

                                Morning all.

Just a question, when I look to see who is on-line it often says the names and then so many "guests". I know we are still a "closed" forum so are these phantom "guests" something to do with admin?
