Being very spoilt this weekend. After a lovely evening with DS's on Friday, I had a take-away curry with DD's family yesterday evening which was fun and today I have been invited to lunch with DD's family next door, will have all my four eldest GC there. I do not flatter myself they are here to see me, it is Fathers Day.

Cloudy here, I am so hoping that it brightens up, going to youngest sons for lunch. If it is bright we will have a BBQ, they have just bought a new garden set which cost a small fortune, they do a lot of entertaining so it will get well used. If it isn't good enough weather we will have a roast. They must have made up their minds by now, they live about seven miles away so it is likely their weather might be slightly different to ours. I have put husbands dress suit in the car as son and dil are going on the Orient Express to Venice (where they got married) and they are going to dress for dinner. It seems silly for him to go and spend money on something he will probably never wear again. Not sure if it will fit.

Looking forward to seeing all the children together, they play so nicely. I have got wine, fizz and beer cooling in the fridge, biscuits for cheese as I got a text this morning to ask if I could get some as they forgot. I have charged the camera batteries, got money for a taxi home and dil will come and get me tomorrow to go and pick the car up.

I have a lot to do tomorrow. I am running an activity in a school on Wednesday with very little people. I am not supposed to in my seconded role, I am supposed to find the people to do it but I want to do it and anyway what can they do? Sack me? I have to bone up on the method and the story I am working around plus I have organised for a special needs school to go to our Kings Cross site on the 1st July and I have to sort the final details and get the risk assessment for the H&S bloke who seems to be dragging his feet. I also have to go to my unit to get some goodies to send to site for the kids and for two sets of other kids going on to sites during the next couple of months another to Kings Cross and one to Battersea, those are part of my seconded role the special needs school is not.

Getting a bit fed up of the weather, wet again.

A young man just aged 30 has been fatally stabbed in an area close to where we live. Hereford used to be such a quiet place but we haave had several stabbings over the last few years, most of it is drugs related.
It's so sad another waste of a young life. He was separated with a young child.

This morning I got up at 6.30, Put the kettle on for a cup of coffee, put coffee in cup, went to use the facilities, came back picked up the kettle to pour the water....... Err where is the cup? Oh what is that coffee doing on the work surface? Yep, put the coffee in an imaginary cup, better than having an imaginary friend I suppose!

Had a lovely day with the little people and elder and youngest sons, middle son didn't bother to get in touch, quelle surprise. I did have a few vino callapsos. Sadie's magazine had a fan, a glittery mask and a tiara in on a comb to hold it in the hair. Dil's mum (Ben's mad nanna) told her to put it on Other granddad's head. Sadie said "no he hasn't got no hair" me "you mean he hasn't got ANY hair" Sadie "no he hasn't got NO hair, look his hair has gone!". Oh well maybe instructing a four year in grammar is a bit of a stretch sometimes!!
