3 of DD2s 4 chickens were killed yesterday, a similar story to Avos a while ago

Today for me is work, a client here and one to go out to, also general holiday preparation, and some more bedding plants to get in.
Tonight OH and I are going to the village pub for a drink with friends, a pre-birthday and holiday get together

Afternoon all. I would love to know how two adults can create so much washing when all they have done is spend 4 days away from home. I've been washing non stop since 8 this morning, it's not the way I visualised spending my wedding anniversary!

Well after that busy day yesterday with all the washing I suppose I'd better iron it today..........No, wait what club do I belong to for goodness sake , a true member of the MT wouldn't iron ! I will change that last statement.
The iron will stay in the cupboard and I will find much more interesting ways to spend a day 😀

Sorry to hear about the chickens Gemini, it is so frustrating and upsetting. Miserable day here again and its cold ... Off later to DIL who still hasn't given us this baby, I will mind gs whilst she goes to the Midwife, I think they will do a 'sweep' so hopefully get things moving. Come on little one time for a birthday me thinks.

glorious sun here since early , I am off to wed club at 10 if DS2 can come and keep an eye out for his Dad . DD1 wants me to get a night sitter as Himself has taken to the odd ramble in the dark , has any one had experience of sitters ? I feel it will be intrusive and not sure if I would get any more sleep , I being so nosy would still be listening for movements

Avo, June 10th is great day for a birthday so I'm rooting for her/him to arrive today

OH and I are going out for lunch. It will actually be an afternoon tea at a very posh hotel, using a voucher given to us as a wedding present. From there we will go to pick up GD from school, she's excited to be sharing my birthday with me Not sure if we will eat out tonight, if not I think I will choose fish and chips at home, which I love! Just had a lovely phone call from GS, singing me Happy birthday.

No experience of sitters Aggie, but it may be worth trying as it should give you some rest. once you get used to someone being there.

Can't believe I didn't say good morning today, so here is a good afternoon.

Just been to the gym, first time in 6 months!! Feel good at the moment, but think I may be in pain tomorrow or Friday! New machines to get my head round, but hopefully I'll soon get the hang of them and get rid of the flabby bits! I wasn't being lazy by the way! The gym closed because the owners hadn't paid the staff so they walked out, then the owners made of with most of the equipment! But it's up and running again,thenk goodness!
