Well his BP was normal but he has to go back to see his GP as they are keen for his meds to be changed a little. He still has his annoying cough and apparently that can be eased with a change of tablets. His finger tips are blue some days, again a change in meds might help . He has had the odd back ache when he has been out walking and this can be a linked to his heart attack. He has been told that if he gets a pain to take his mouth spray, if the pain goes away, it's definitely his heart and we have to dial 999 ! If the pain remains it's not his heart but could be something not so serious. He had the pain when we were in town and thankfully after he took his spray the pain was still there . He has to see his GP and we have just made an appointment ........the 20th May !!!! Getting to see a GP is getting ridiculous, it's no wonder so many people go to A&EBring me sunshine in your smile.Comment

We took GS to a local farm shop café with outdoor play area. I took my GD a lot, but have never taken GS before.
They now have a little bouncy castle! He asked me to go on, and I told him grown ups can't. When my back was turned OH was on there with him (when no other children were on) So she blew my cover LOL.

Goodness!!! Two Omas!! eeek (sorry Oma, only kidding!)
I have had an 'interesting' day of child care today. I received a frantic phone call this morning from DIL2 - she, DS, GD2 and the other granny all had a tummy bug and could I go over and look after GD2. Long story short, GD1 ended up staying off school as well due to the logistics of getting her there and back. So she wanted to play and as soon as I was involved with a game with her, GD2 was up to mischief. She had only been sick once and then slept for 3 hours and woke up determined to be an imp.
She's not allowed in the kitchen and I must have shooed her out or lifted her out at least 100 times. A couple of times she managed to get in and put Duplo bricks and other toys in the dog's water bowl - making a nice splash. Each time I said 'No', very firmly and she just laughed at me. Then I was just too late to stop her dropping GD1's brand new sandals in to the water. Arrrrgghhhh! My 'No!' was even firmer, and she still laughed at me! But cross as I was, I could see the funny side - she was so determined. I'm sure she'll grow out of dunking things in water - I just hope it will be sooner rather than later. lol

Good Saturday morning, everyone. The promised overnight rain is still with us, too Zizi, so I'm facing a very damp morning at the allotment trying to get the broad beans in. I should have done it yesterday but the family decreed otherwise. At least I got the lawns cut last night!

We are eating out with friends tonight. They are 'upgrading' their civil partnership to married status next week. We chose a date betwen our 2 celebrations, to go out for more celebrating

Well popped to shops, first to Ashford (Surrey) to get bread and papers then on to Shepperton, a ten minute drive away, to the butchers. Was a bit later than normal and driving back I remarked to the husband that I knew I was later than usual as I hadn't seen the man with his little brown dog. I usually see him going in one direction when I going to the butcher and then in the opposite direction going back. Husband said "there's a man with a brown dog" I told him it was not the same one as he is little and fat. Husband replied "what the man or the dog?" Well I have no idea why but this prompted in me an amazing fit of the giggles which had tears rolling down my face as I drove.
It has stopped raining, it must have been very hard overnight as it has washed a lot of the dirt off my car yippee. It is now grey and overcast but not cold so we will probably go up to town later on, collect the gift and have lunch before coming back home. I hope husband doesn't remember the shaving balm he liked from L'Occitaine as I spent forty quid on some for our wedding anniversary on 9th May.
The coming week is busy at work but I am finding the time to have my hair done, root colour, highlights, cut and blow dry. Then next Sunday is my dils 40th birthday celebration. Bank holiday Monday is when we are going to the spa for two nights.
