Good morning everyone, and thanks for the lovely graphics ladies
I had the loveliest Easter Sunday. All the family at DD2s for a lovely meal, roast lamb, followed by home made sticky toffee pudding. We then sat in their garden all afternoon, watching the GC bounce on the trampoline. My mum rarely gets outside at her age, it will have done her so much good!
Later today OH is in a golf competition. Beautiful day again. I have a 2nd washload on, and have a 'list':
Prepare my therapy room for client tomorrow morning
Prepare spare room for GD staying Wednesday night.
Place Tesco order.
Sort some GRU stuff with my SIL.
Go through wardrobes and weed out clothes for charity shop
If it stays sunny the list will include 'sit in the garden with my Kindle'“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

Good morning all. Another sunny day
I got through my list yesterday, plus preparing dinner and having a nice read in the sun in the afternoon
I don't usually combine a work day with GC care, but this week it has worked out that way, GS day today. Just one client this morning though, and GS from 12. He sleeps a couple of hours in the afternoon, and is a good boy, so it's not problem really.

Evening ladies I am full of cold thanks to colleagues at work, have been cooking last 2 days and office tomorrow. Then 2 days off to get a few things done around the house. I'm working all weekend cooking so shorter hours somewhat.Just wish I didn't have a head full of cotton wool Either I missed it or no word from Zizi how TTS went,Oma great news about your results.Positive result as of May 6th I should be doing 7 shifts days only over 5 weeks, then I got "persuaded" to cook 4 days a week whilst our regular cook goes home for extended holiday, but joy of joy's the weekend cook is looking to do more hours and will now do Mon/Thurs & Friday,so only Tues/Weds for me.Last edited by Libra Gran; 07-04-2015, 04:20 PM."What doesn't kill us,makes us stronger."

The jumping screen when I press reply here is still disconcerting !......... anyway , lovely day here again , debating if it is warm enough to wear sandals , but still got the vest on ..... hhmmmmm . DIL was in A+E with painful hip /leg most of yesterday , My Sister came to take the boys to her house , her OH is still poorly after last bout of Chemo , eldest DGS started to ask her about his health , how do you drive and explain the big C and the poisonous chemo ? She gamely did her best while youngest La La ed as he didn't want to hear about it . I think they were traumatised by seeing their mum carted off in an ambulance . She is home waiting for an apt for a scan but is a good bit better today ie can walk from chair to chair
