I have two sleeping GS's in my spare room, no doubt they will surface at some time, well they are teenagers. Dil and DS are away overnight, will be back to collect them later today. Although they like coming to GM's, I think, they are getting to the age when they want to stay at home. When would you leave children on their own overnight, they are on their own in the day. Eldest will soon be 16 and the youngest just 14. They are going to take the furniture out of my sun room today so that I can clean it.

This morning we had a little outing to a nearby village where there was a parade of horse-drawn carriages. The carriages were old ones which had been renovated to an incredibly high standard, and the pairs and fours of horses were magnificent. Apparently driving a coach and horses is a difficult skill, but all the drivers made it look easy. All the passengers were dressed for the occasion - lots of top hats and 'bonnets'. The sun shone and we decided to head deeper into the Forest to take photos (there are a few on my profile, under Media). We walked about 4km - stopping to take photos whenever a carriage passed us. So a thoroughly different, but enjoyable, morning. We were ready to put our feet up with a cuppa when we got home!

Good morning everyone.
We hope to see you all on the next series of Vera, Pearl!
Work for me this afternoon. Out to lunch first. My Danish friend, whose DD is friends with my GD is buying me lunch. She seems almost more excited about the wedding than we are I'll take some photos to show her.
I hope everyone is doing well, especially Mr Oma.“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown
