Good morning all. I hope I find you all bursting with a lot of 'get up and. go' this breezy morning.
Yesterday evening was a bit of a compromise when it came to the food , OH wanted burgers and sausages , whilst I was going down the line of jacket potato with salad. As DS had the evening off he joined us around the chiminea and I replaced the sausages with vegetable sausages for OH , DS had ordinary sausages , dismissed burgers on the grounds that we didn't have any which may have something to do with the fact that I never buy them anyway! We also had jacket potatoes, this was all washed down with the odd glass of wine.
It was lovely sitting there chatting long after it had become dark. I know only too well, if we had been indoors we would have been glued to the TV not saying very much at all.

Morning ladies Mimi your right about the TV sounds a perfect evening ,
Wind blew both my miniature apple trees over during night luckily only the gravel on the top of soil spilled out so sorted them out and tied them to the fence as the wind still a bit strong but warm , perfect drying day . I have put extra pegs in the clothes to keep them on the line 😊 Nothing much to do today pop to Morrisons and take yet another bag to the Cancer research charity shop next door to it , at this rate neither off us will have any clothes left , well an excuse to buy more , I take lots in there but never seem to have the time to browse around see what they have , have a good day ladies xxx

Really blowy here yesterday, a quiet sunny day here today. Feeling very lazy after a busy weekend. Off on holiday Saturday with DS and DIL and two GS. Hope this sunny weather continues especially in Cornwall.

Work for me this afternoon. This morning I may have to tackle some holiday ironing.

Work day today and I have for the main part loved my position as Duty Manager. But recently I have found my tolerance levels waining along with my patience. I know now retiring is the right decision. Today for example at least 3 people wanted something done at the same time, but of course they want it done yesterday. 11 more shifts to go. Mentally exhausted by the end of my shift.

iv'e ordered some scented candles for Christmas presents, in fact I think they will be here tomorrow. When I think of something for presents, I like to get them in.
When I know what to get, it's half the battle.
