Good evening all!
Oma, how scary, thank goodness all was OK, I would have felt shaky and tearful too after that. As you say, we think of what could have happened,
Nan2, I'm glad your friend is starting to feel better.
I am missing the baby very much, as we saw so much of him on holiday. He is coming tomorrow while his big sister and mum and dad go to see The BFG“A grandchild fills a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.” – Unknown

SIL came to pick Josh and Storm up and has told me not to take him walking again as he's too strong and SIL takes him for a 1 hour walk on a morning before he goes to work then again on a evening , SIL was more worried that he could have pulled me over and hurt me .
Gem I bet you do miss him he's so scrumptious 😊
Nanto glad to hear better news about your friend , how long are they keeping her in Hospital ?xxIm not fat just 6ft too small

My friend came home earlier today. She feels better than she has for quite a while. She ate a full portion of fish and chips, something she hasn't been able to do for several weeks, and she really enjoyed them.
I am hoping this is the light at the end of the tunnel.Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good Saturday morning. It's a beautiful day here, so hoping it lasts.
Nanto - I was so pleased to hear your friend is feeling better. I bet she really enjoyed those fish and chips. Have a lovely day in Haworth. I hope the weather's good.
Oma - That must have been terrifying when Storm got spooked. You don't realise how strong dogs are until they panic like that. Thank goodness you had a good Samaritan around. I won't let my friend walk Eva for the same reason - I don't want her (the friend) to get hurt - nor Eva, of course.
Gem - he's such a scrummy baby, no wonder you miss him. xx
I've got a rare day at home today, but since we're out tomorrow I need it! With the sun shining the garden calls - a bit of relaxation and a gentle potter round headheading etc.

well I am feeling virtuous because I took my special bag to my ironing fairy, went to the butchers, couldn't go last week because of road closures for Ride London, went to greengrocer and baker also, took a whole load of really good stuff to the charity shop (kettle, toaster, saucepans etc. All the stuff that we replaced for the kitchen plus a few clothes), then went looking for a gas bottle for the BBQ but everyone has sold out. Came home, cleaned fridge, unloaded dishwasher, found yet another fault in the kitchen (doesn't make me feel virtuous just adds to the growing list of wrong things) and now I am sitting next to the husband who is watching a programme he REALLY wanted to watch on catch up BUT he is watching it through his eyelids and making snoring noises! If you want to go fast go alone, if you want to go far go together

Afternoon ladies I feel absolutely exhausted I have finally finished the decorating started on the downstairs loo today , I haven't stopped everything emulsion,d and painted and almost back together , have the radiator yo put back on and new towel storage rack to go up but that will wait till tomorrow, I can hand on heart say I am thoroughly decorated out , I won't be picking a paint brush up for a very long time , it's not just the painting it's the prep and clearing up after , no matter how organised I am it always seems to spread around the house every room looks untidy , My finger nails are shot they will all have to be cut tonight can't get the paint out of them 😊Im not fat just 6ft too small
