    Sun is shining.
Oma, I can well imagine some of the words you used.
Have a nice meal, all those who are eating out.No Fathers day meal out for us, both of our boys work on a Sunday.
Planning on getting some work done in the garden if the weather stays nice.

Qwerty, stop saying that! ! It is not the first time you have said it. Summer has hardly begun, I don't want to think about any going downhill

We had a great lunch. 2 DDs and SILs (the others are in London this weekend) All GC, ex husband and his OH, DD2s in laws, and us. Great fun, and good food. DD1 managed to get the first photos of all 3 GC too, something we have wanted to do for ages

We had a lovely meal at DD's today, and dinner at DS' s last night. Hubs has been spoilt again, but this socialising is exhausting, we are off to bed with our library books at 8pm. We can't take the pace anymore, becoming lightweights.

Well it had to rain didn't it. Started spotting about 4.30, and have had a few heavy showers.
Nice to hear that everyone has a good day with good food and good company.

It started raining here about 3 pm. I just managed to get the lawn cut before it became too soggy!

No Father's Day lunches for us - DS1 was leaving for San Fransisco on business at 4 pm and DS2 & Co are struggling just to do day-to-day things with everything that's been going on (FIL being il etc). But OH has a happy couple of hours in his shed - sorry, studio!! - cramming large pieces of wood turning kit into small spaces, and he put up and painted a shelf in my summer house. I cooked him a nice dinner - pork medallions with onions, cherry tomatoes and fresh thyme, jacket potatoes, kale and sugar snap peas. Plus a nice bottle of Merlot, of course.

Raining again in Devon, not much fun, hope it clears up later so we can get out.

                              Hi everyone.

I hope the rain clears up for you Plant.

Busy day here. This morning I must make a start on packing and preparing for the cat sitters. Our hairdresser is coming at 12.30. At 1.30 I pick up my mum for a 2pm meeting regarding my sister. This was postponed from a time much more convenient to me, to today My two regular Monday afternoon clients are coming at 5.30 instead. I won't be finished until between 7.30 and 8pm, hopefully OH will cook!
