Good Tuesday morning, everyone. It's raining here - I hope it doesn't mean we're in for a wet week in the caravan!
A busy day packing, tidying the shambles that is our house and hopefully a bit of baking. I really need to cut the lawn, but if it's too wet we'll just have to leave it.
I hope everyone is ok.

Had a lovely day,we were asked by friends to go out for coffee and cake.
We would have gone for a meal.but we had all eaten at home.
Came back to ours for more coffee and cake in the garden.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.
Oma, the fire looks good, and the carpet. It will all look so cosy in winter Our next door neighbours have a very similar fire.
Thanks for passing on Plant's message.
That sounds a nice sociable time Nan2.

Well, the caravan's packed apart from fridge stuff and toothbrushes etc. I'm going to pick the GDs up first thing in the morning, then we'll have an early lunch and get going. There should be WiFi at the camp site, but you never know for sure until you get there.
Lizzie, I hope you have a good holiday to, and the weather is kind to you.
Oma, you'd never know the carpet had been patched! It looks lovely.
Nanto, lots of cake - can't be bad.
Gem, I hope you've recovered from your busy time with GS3.
Plant, not sure when you're travelling back, but safe journey.
Bed's calling as I'll have an early start tomorrow.
Night, night. xx

Aqua this morning, then I am meeting OH at the garage, where I will leave my car and she will drive me home. We are taking my auntie out today, so it will be quick shower and change and out.

Not a good night in the Oma household ,
MIL was getting ready for bed last night went into the kitchen to make a hot water bottle up and had a nasty fall.
Managed to drag herself into the sitting room to get the phone to ring DD who lives near,
Hurt her back neck and head ,
No room in our local hospital Sunderland so had to take her outside the area to South Shields , quite a distance from us all.
CT scan on her head and neck ok but awaiting results on her back that was hurting the most ,
She vomited and there was blood in it so they checking her Aorta incase of a leak.
Sister in law left just before 6 this morning and other SIL has to ring at 10 for a update.
If she hadn’t got to the phone she would have been on the floor till we get there tomorrow .
She refuses to have a panic alarm necklace or any kind of care so what can we do we can’t force her.
When SIL phoned 999 they told her to give MIL 4 aspirin because of her heart she would only take 1
B had to ring her and almost bully her into taking the other 3 .
Shes on Morphine for the back pain so was asleep when SIL left.
Oh Oma, poor MIL, thank goodness she could reach her phone. An alarm pendant is really needed but as you say you can't force her. My auntie has had one for some time and did have to use it once a few months ago.
Sending all good wishes for MIL's recovery.
