Two different roads Plant , first one was on the way to York , but yes this highway is a very fast road and rush hour is a nightmare .

Daisy, are you back home now? Where has Eva been whilst you have been away.?

Plant, yes, we got home late on Saturday. Eva has been staying with DS2, and keeping Cooper on his toes (or paws!). They play together very well and lie down together, but DS2 says Eva is definitely the boss. A bit cheeky of her when she's in someone else's house!

I've got quite a lot done today - all of it boring stuff, but I'm gradually catching up. The washing pile is down to a load of towels but the weather was so awful I didn't even think about doing them.

Oma, that crash sounds horrendous. I hope the casualties were just the cars and van, not the people. The roads seem to get more and more dangerous.

Nanto, have you changed your colour scheme in the bedroom with getting new bedding? It's nice to have a change, isn't it.

Gem, pleased to see you've arrived safely. Enjoy that sunshine while you can.

Daisy, we haven't changed the colour scheme in the bedroom, but the new bedding does go with the bedroom.

Oma, that sounds like an awful accident. Hope no-one was badly hurt.

Dinner is gammon and pineapple, baby potatoes and veg.

Nanto, we got new bedding a couple of months ago and it did perk up the look of the room, even though it was the same colour as the old bedding!

It's dull and very cold here this morning. I'm tempted to put the heating on. It's back to dog training for Eva and me today. We haven't been for 5 weeks, so I bet we've both forgotten everything!

Heard on our forum only two minor injuries crash last night ,
amazing considering the sight but as B said Cars are built for impact these days and with air bags etc you have a better chance of scrapping by.

Good morning, very smart Oma, I am having my hair trimmed tomorrow, my hairdresser is on holiday so I have booked in at another here in the village, I mean, we have plenty of them!!!

We had a heavy storm late yesterday, it was forecast, heavy rain, hail, thunder and as black as night!! We didn't get it as bad as some parts of Belgium and the Netherlands.

Daisy, it will be difficult for you getting back into your old routine.xxx

It is dull at the moment, I have my washing out so I hope it doesn't rain while I am out.

I am taking the GD's out for a meal tomorrow evening, a reward for them doing so well at school! Not really, just taking them out, GD2 asked where we were going so I told her it is the restaurant in the old town hall, a beautiful building in the middle of the village, she said she has always fancied a look in there so she get to see it! They are sleeping here as we are going into Rotterdam on Friday, another treat, getting their nails done for their holidays. A busy few days for me!

Daisy, after so long away it must be difficult to get back into a routine. Hope dog training goes well.

A squirrel has found he/she can get into my squirrel proof bird feeder. I think it must be one of this years babies. Board games for me this afternoon and it is not raining atm.

Crikey Lizzie,that was some sky.

The electrician has been and connected the motor to the gates,so they are up and running now.
Hubby just needs to do a bit of cementing on the drive,where it was chiselled out for the cable.
He's hoping to get that done tomorrow, if the weather allows.

I swam today, for the first time since my knee replacement. Although I go to aqua aerobics classes every week we don't swim and I haven't tried it. I have heard differing reports on the ease and otherwise of swimming post replacement. It felt very odd at first but soon felt fine . I think a week of daily swimming will really help
We have the England match on now. They have actually scored a goal.
