We did a little shopping this morning, then onto our friends garden to water their flower tubs as they are in France.
I coloured my hair this afternoon and we changed the bed. Lovely sunny morning, downpours in the afternoon, nice evening, for part of it at least.

Hoping to get the grass cut today, seeing as we were rained off yesterday, hubby wants to trim the hedge.

Need to go to shops today for Birthday cards , I forgot it’s SILs birthday the day he and DD get back from Holiday ,
Sis in-law end of month and Storm is 8 on Friday

Nanto, you have to snatch a chance of cutting grass this year and with so much rain it grows so fast.

We are being invaded by squirrels this year, our neighbour is fed up with them too. They are stripping our apple trees and just being a perfect nuisance. We are without any animals now, perhaps we should think about getting a dog or a cat again but DD and Sil go away quite a lot now they are retired.

Good morning. Absolutely throwing it down and I think its forecast to be like it all day.

The electrician was supposed to be coming today to connect the motor to the gates, but I think he might cancel.

I took a homemade meat and potato pie out of the freezer yesterday, so that is dinner sorted.

Good Tuesday morning, everyone. I have no chance of catching up on this thread, so please forgive me if I ask silly questions!

It's cold, damp and wintery here again. Goodness knows when we'll get some summer. I'm having a day of catching up today with things like washing, sorting out the dog food freezer and other equally exciting jobs.

Sorry folks it's hot and sunny here!
DDs have told me how awful it is at home and it was certainly appalling in Leeds when we boarded our flight.
We have arrived, had lunch, checked in and are resting in our room. We are So tired! As well as the 4am wake up we had almost no sleep beforehand.

We are on holiday though , so nothing to moan about

The rain eventually stopped,and its brightened up slightly.

So glad we did the garden yesterday.
I cleaned upstairs and put on the new bedding that i bought recently.

went to have my hair cut and coloured on the way home on the other side of the road on our highway was a really awful crash ,
At least 8 cars and a work van on its side in the trees ,
Someone had a ladder against the van looking in the door ,lots of people helping out.
Just then the fire brigade and police turned up .

there was debris all over the road , I hope no one was badly hurt .
This is the second bad smash in less than two weeks we have witnessed.

First thing we did when we got in was ring GS to make sure he was safe.
We have heard lots of sirens passing the back road .
