Oma, pleased to hear GS has got his job back.

Daisy I have bought a new squirrel proof feeder but it isn’t as strong looking as the link you sent, it is one with a cage around it. . I do agree with you about supporting the local shops, I am afraid we have lost all our village shops, there are some on a nearby estate. I love it that the M&S Foodhall is very close, it is always busy but they don’t stock the brands I want. Take Mayo for instance, they only do med.size squeeze bottles and I cannot get the last drop out like jars. They often run out of my milk too. An online shop to Waitrose is sometimes needed.

Yes it’s a shoe shop , he likes the early start , he takes deliveries then prices and bar codes the boxes
He said it’s a easy job and when he starts that early he gets to have the afternoon off.

You would love our new M&S that is opening on the 30th it’s enormous,
A huge food hall downstairs and clothes plus household upstairs.
We currently have a small food hall three shops up from there but it’s not big enough now it’s so popular.

That will close the day before the new one opens,
They took over 4 units that had closed down , Peacocks, Top shop, Clark’s & New look , they have knocked them all into one .

Lizzie, allergies can make us feel pretty rough I know.

So many Apologies at the meeting this morning. including the librarian and the chair, so not the most fruitful meeting ever. I got an hours shelving done in the library afterwards.
GS1 is halfway through his SATS. The breakfast which school is providing at 8am each day is a lure He had a complete meltdown about the whole thing last week, but is taking it in his stride now it is actually here.

Good morning, it looks a better morning than yesterday.

We had visitors yesterday who stayed quite a while,so haven't got caught up with you all.

Gem, glad GS is coping with his SATS now.

Oma, our M&S in the town centre closed last year. They opened a new food hall in a retail park near town. We went in on Saturday, only because i had a voucher. It's never been one of my favourite shops. As for clothes, i think I've only ever bought a couple of cardigans. I always thought their clothes were frumpy. Maybe they have improved now. Their clothes were well made, but never any that were my style.

I don't think I have much to do today, for a change.

Jacket spuds for dinner with tuna mayo and cheese.

                    Good morning ladies.

Miserable here Nan2, a bit drizzly.

Aqua this morning. All will be happy to see our regular Wednesday instructor back from her holidays!

Then we are going out for an afternoon tea/late lunch! A golfing friend offered to host this to celebrate OH's big birthday. I think there are 6 of us going. The plan was for it to be in her garden but I doubt that now. I hear she is a excellent cook who makes lovely cakes

Nice to have visitors but it knocks your routine out doesn’t it. Enjoy your free day.

Good Wednesday morning everyone. The weather can't make it's mind up yet, but OH wants to start cleaning the patio if it stays dry. I've got dog training, but said I'd help move pots etc this morning, so I'd better get moving.

Oma, hope all goes well with the appointments.

It's brightened up a bit here.

We've just had the quote for electric gates at the end of the drive, so we've decided to have them done.
We've already got gates there which we do lock, but hubby has been talking about electric gates for a while.

Daisy, how is the patio cleaning going.

Nanto, the patio cleaning is going well, thank. you. OH has borrowed a power tool attachment from DS2 which cleans out the gaps between slabs. That normally means weeds, but on our patio it's the 'grouting' between the slabs that needs getting out. It's all breaking up and is a mess.
