I think some girls can be more aggressive than boys it’s the world we live in sadly.

I was in bed got 10 last night I felt really sick it was coming over me in waves.
We had fish & Chips from the chippy , they were really nice but greasy so I think that’s what caused it ,
Cant take grease these days ,
Im fine this morning a bit off but ok.
GS coming sometime today no doubt he will want feeding.

    Plant
    our posts crossed,
I hope they get the house it’s awful waiting to see but if it’s meant to be they will xx

Oma, I know what you mean about fish and chips. I LOVE them and would happily have them every week. We have them about once month or so and I get a small portion. I find it is the batter which can make you feel sick so if there is lot of batter I leave some even on the small fish.
I hope you feel better as the day goes on.

House buying is never simple is it Plant? How nice to have children nearby again

Glorious day here and there is actually some warmth in the sun! Had to unfasten my coat on my walk! Still very squelchy underfoot though and I was glad of my wellies!

Lizzie, one of the teams my GS plays against are horrible, not only physically but verbally too! DD warned me about them the first time I went to one of the matches. Too much testosterone or something! It wasn't just the boys though, their manager managed to get a red card too for his behaviour! Not a good example. One poor referee could hardly get off the pitch because a group of the opposition parents were questioning some of his decisions. He's just a young lad and was almost in tears at their comments.

DD etc coming round for a meal later. I've cheated and bought a steak pie from the local butcher, Plenty of veg and followed by a chocolate pear pudding made by me! GS popped in yesterday afternoon,(it's strange him driving himself places now), with a brownie which he and his GF had baked. It was delicious, so I'm hoping they'll make some more!

Hope all goes well for GD2 and house buying Plant! Maybe the fact that they've no house to sell will sway the people who are selling theirs. Fingers crossed!

Enjoy the rest of the day ladies whatever you're up to! x

Gem, always nice to have a meal cooked for you.

Plant, fingers crossed they get the house.

Bro in law from the bungalow came and stayed for about an hour and a half.

We have had a bit of sunshine today.

Hubby put some new fairy lights up in the garden.

Nanto, your new lights look very pretty. Hopefully it won't be long before we can think about sitting outside in the evening, enjoying our gardens.

WeeGranny, you can hardly blame children for bad behaviour when the parents behave so badly. Honestly! It's supposed to be a Game, isn't it. It does seem strange when our GCs first start driving themselves around. You just hope they drive safely, don't you.

Plant, your GD should stand a fair chance with that house if they're not in a chain and the other potential buyers have a problem. I was quite surprised that the lawn had dried out a bit yesterday. It was still very wet and I had the blades on the mower very high, but it tidied it up a bit.

Oma, I hope you're feeling ok now. I love fish and chips, but can't eat all the batter these days. I tell myself it's good for my waistline (or would be if I had one!).

I did a couple of loads of washing today. Not much else. It was sunny but very cold. I took Eva out about 5 o'clock and the sun was so low it kept dazzling me!

Good morning, its frosty, can see it on the car windows across the road.

Daisy, I hope you are right about being able to sit in the garden before too long.

Going to get Lord Sheraton out and clean the leather suite. Then do the rest of the living room.

Pork chops, chips, peas and sweetcorn for dinner.

Good Monday morning everyone, including the little cutie in your graphic, Nanto.

We had some frost overnight, but it's warming up a bit.

Gem, I bet GS1 loves having grandma to take him to school.

No particular plans for me today. OH and DS2 didn't finish the greenhouse yesterday. There's a problem with the roof and somehow the glass doesn't fit. They may have to take it down and redo it, but that won't be until next week-end.

                    I'll pop back later.

                      A proper good morning

GS1 safely delivered to school (yes he does like me taking him Daisy. His dad has a car now and could reasonably be asked to take his son, but DD fears GS wouldn't go)
It was frosty and foggy when we went out. Now I am back the fog is gone and it's sunny, so could be nice day ahead.
This morning I am meeting my friend for a couple of hours at the cat cafe in town! She booked for herself and her sister but her sister is now unable to go so she asked me. So no aquafit for me this morning as the times clashed.

Cute puppy graphic Nan2, I'm sure your frost will lift as ours is. I love the garden lights.

WG, our butchers has homemade pies which look delicious. You have reminded me to go and buy some! I hope you and DD enjoyed yours.

Daisy we got washing dry outside yesterday too. What a pain about the greenhouse .

I hope everyone is well and has a good week.

Lovely day yesterday, family get-together to see GD2 and partner whilst they were here. H was in her element having her two cousins here. DD and GD made two chillies, 1 for the 4 veggies and another for the carnivores, I supplied crumbles from the freezer. I think they are going to make an offer for the house. GD1 is in a lot of pain, she has a wisdom tooth growing and we don’t think it looks right, she is going to contact her dentist today. It might be a hospital job.

Gemini, There is no contest, you book the holiday! Everyone else will manage. How is your GS1 getting on with his glasses at school?

Daisy sorry to hear the greenhouse re=building is not behaving. We were able to march the neighbours greenhouse around to our garden so we just had to glaze it. A gale hit it one night and demolished it so we had a new one on the insurance.

                          Morning everyone

We had hard frost this morning but the sun is out and it’s cleared.
Cold but not as cold as I thought it would be,

                          Gem
GS is better off you taking him although it’s another duty you could do without but like us all I know you would rather than your DD having to ask his father .

                          Daisy
You we’re lucky getting the grass trimmed it’s boggy underfoot here , next door said you sink in the garden , we lucky we don’t have that with being Astro turf 😁
That sun is very low this time of the year , I spend half my time shading my eyes when we are out so I can see .

                          Nanto
Cute little friend you have there,
lights look lovely ours twinkle away on a evening
                          Nice to see arnt they,

                          Plant
That did bring a funny picture to mind , marching the Greenhouse round 😁
Poor GD , she does need to see the Dentist , mine was done at the hospital , They were brilliant.

We went to Lidl this morning I needed cabbage and some fruit not much else so it was a quick shop.

                          New Kitchen sink coming today,
We have one that’s mounted under the wood work tops and it’s a pain ,
Every now and then the silicone seal starts to fail so it has to be taken out and redone ,
So we decided a top mounted one would be better ,

Will need to route a bit out for it to fit but that’s no big deal B can do that easily.

GS and Lucie came yesterday spent a couple of hours before she went back to her Uni and GS went back to Leeds.

                          Have a good day ladies.

Plant that sounded a lovely day yesterday. GS2 gets his glasses on Thursday.

Oma, I hope the new sink fitting goes smoothly. When it rains a lot does water collect on the astroturf?
