    Good morning everyone.

Nan2, enjoy pub lunch if it happens!

Daisy I hope all goes smoothly for OH. It's good that he knows what time of day suits him better. Does he have any choice of appointment times?

We are waiting for our hairdresser. 9 am appointment but she's invariably early. A pet hate of mine!
JUst a trim as usual. Our hairdresser is fine. OH has had her hair cut by her for about 30 years! If I wanted something different I may go elsewhere.

GS1 will be here for the day and baby E until tomorrow. It will be good for the boys to be together. GS2 is definitely the baby's number 1 cousin, so it's nice when there is just his older cousin to concentrate on 😊

Sunny today, I am having a new sun lounge built, they did the building yesterday and at the moment it is being painted, Had a bit of an indecision as the where the door should go, not sure if I have got it right, we shall see. Need to go to the local M&S to pick up a parcel, trying to find some new tops, we shall see if I like these. We have two sink holes appeared in our village so two lots of lights. One has been repaired and filled twice. Gardens of two houses are affected

Germini, enjoy your time with 2 grandsons but presumably no lifting.

Daisy, Hope all goes smoothly with OH’s eye appt. Eva was a lucky dog when she joined your family, you read her thoughts so well. .

Hope the door is in the right place on your Sun room , what colour are you having it painted ?

        Gem
Enjoy your time with the GSs.
Sometimes a change of hairdresser is what you need to get someone you like.

        Daisy
How is J is he ok , I must admit we like a early appointments,
pleased Eva enjoyed the class despite the woofy new comer 😁

        Nanto
enjoy lunch wherever you have it , I could just eat a full English 😁

Been to MILs, took her food to last a few days , A bit of a moan about things but we changed the subject and she forgot about them.

We went to Sainsburys for her cigarettes, B parked in the pick up bays ,
I came out got in the car only to realise it was someone else’s car ,
It was a huge Range Rover not even the same colour as ours , it was only when I realised the man sitting next to me was smoking a vape that I realised I was in the wrong car ,
He was sitting grinning as I apologised and scrambled out again.

        B said I’m a menace and shouldn’t be allowed anywhere alone 🤣🤣🤣🤣

          Good Thursday morning, everyone.

Nanto, I hope your very local weather forecaster is right.

Gem, I'm sure both cousins will make the most of each other's company today. I bet Baby E gets very excited - it's such a lovely age. One of OH's car buddies always arrives early, and it drives me mad! And he always rings at tea time, wanting to have a good old chat, and OH is too polite to tell him we're eating!

S must be happy with your current hairdresser, but I sense you wouldn't trust her to change your style drastically.

Plant, your sun room seems to have been built very quickly and efficiently. I'm curious about the colour as well. Are you pleased with it? You'll get used to the door. It's hard to decide beforehand, isn't it. I think sink holes are very frightening. They appear so quickly and I can't imagine the worry of having one in your garden. I wonder if it's the effect of all the wet weather we've had this winter.

Oma, I know you don't drink, otherwise I'd be asking how many you'd had to get into such a different car! No wonder B says you're not safe to be allowed out on your own!

At least MIL was ok, today.

We left home at 7.30 to get to the hospital for 8.15 - plenty of time, except that there was a huge traffic jam caused by two big tankers slurping up flood water! Still, we just made it in time - we both hate being late for appointments like that. We were back home by 10 am, and ready for breakfast! At least I was. OH is feeling ropey as always, and is dozing in front of the television. I took Eva for a little walk before we went out, but I'll take her for a proper one later.

Oma, B will have to put you on a lead. Pleased Mil was in a relatively good mood.

Daisy, Not easy with hospital appts. Parking is the main problem at our hospitals.

The sun room is finished, men have checked it all over and have left. Very pleased with it and the colour. I am away at DS’s and Dil’s tomorrow for 3 nights so I will not attempt to look inside until I get back. A fence had to be taken down to give access, Sil will replace this when they get back from holiday and the border has been well trodden down. We have had the most delightfully warm sunny day after a drizzly day yesterday.

Hallo everyone, it has been like spring today, 15 degrees, after a wet start! I have sorted the plants etc on the balcony, it was lovely out there. I went to the shops in the next village as well so I have had a busy day.

Oma, getting into the wrong car! I bet the man had a good laugh afterwards.

Gem, I expect you are enjoying having the GS's.

Daisy, you did well to get back from the hospital so early.

I have a chicken cooking in the air frier, smells delicious.

Nanto, yes, a pricey rain coat!

Been a mild day here, even though there wasn't any sun.

We did eat at the pub, had a lovely couple of hours with good company.

Not done much today regarding housework.

Oma, I didn't like to mention it, but I thought I remembered you telling us about it. Getting into other people's cars is becoming a habit!

Nanto, Glad you had a day off from the cooking. Was your pub meal nice?

Lizzie, is your balcony very sheltered? I bet it was lovely today. Have your plants all survived the winter?

Plant, how lovely to be spending a few days with your DS and DIL. You will come back full of enthusiasm for putting any finishing touches to your new sunroom. I'm sure the border will soon re-establish itself at this time of year. We've had a lovely sunny day as well, apart from a bit of drizzle this afternoon. Also as we were on our way home from the hospital there was the smallest heavy shower I've ever seen! I know that sounds odd, but i'd just pulled away from traffic lights, turning right, and as I turned the windscreen was hit with big, fat raindrops. By the time I'd crossed the junction it had stopped! It was very weird.

I haven't done much today, apart from looking after OH and taking Eva for a walk.

Another busy day tomorrow. Sainsburys delivery between 8 and 9, then going over to collect both GDs for the day. We're looking forward to seeing them and glad we've managed to fit it in before their half term is over.

Daisy, our pub meal was very nice thanks.

Oma, make sure you get in the right car if you are out today.

Plans for today are delivering a birthday card, after hubby gets home. I could have posted it, but she always says no one visits them. 10 minutes of her and I will have had enough.

Not sure what time we will get home, so it will be a jacket potato with cheese and beans.

Good morning, yes Daisy the balcony is usually very sheltered, it was really warm working yesterday. One plant doesn't look too good but will see how it goes now, the olive trees have survived!

Plant, you will be pleased with the new sunroom.

I am going to do the coffee now, plus the plants, catch up later.

Im sure with your green fingers the plant will rally round ,
my DD has a app on her phone that tells you what your plant needs if it’s struggling ,
One plant needed Milk of all things , 😳

How is J’s eye today ?
Enjoy your day with the girls.

How did it go with GS last night did he sleep through the night xx

Waiting for Dog to arrive, it’s a nice bright morning so he will most likely spend a lot of time in the garden,
He is having fish pie with extra Tuna today,
B made fish pie on Wednesday for tea and for MIL so made dog one also 😁

I am about to clear my kitchen cupboard out to clean the shelves,
I did a half hearted attempt the other day but they really need a good clean ,

My larder cupboard I have baskets with things like sugars etc in and the other day I was getting it from the top shelf and the basket started to slip out of my hands,
I grabbed the bag of sugar and it split sending sugar everywhere,
I thought I had cleaned it all but I can feel little bits of grit on the shelves so a good clean out is needed.
If I’m doing that I may as well do them all.

Good Friday morning, everyone. We've had more rain, but at least it's not too cold.

Friday morning has started badly! I'd booked Sainsbury's earlier than usual because of the girls coming here today. I got a shower as soon as the alarm went off - and had to fiddle opening new shampoo. Put drops in OH's eye (it's ok, but needs drops). Groceries arrived even earlier than booked, just as I'd noticed that Eva had been sick all over the guest bedroom carpet, and it's bins day. Decided Eva needed something more bland than the food I'd defrosted for her, so defrosted something else - and she doesn't want it. So just off to collect the girls.

I'll catch up with everyone later.

Daisy, take a breath! What a start to your day, now relax and enjoy your time with GD’s.

Oma, I think sugar is one of the worst things to spill. Enjoy your day with Storm, I hope he enjoys the fish pie (my favourite).

My DD and Sil have just left to catch the ferry to the Isle of Wight. I have face timed GD as she wasn’t well yesterday and we had H. I am going to have a peek into my new sunroom later but it is so muddy around where the men were working. The furniture is in the cabin and I am washing the blankets, we will sort things out when DD and Sil get back.
