    Morning everyone
Well the snow is still here , not a lot but enough,
The sun is trying to get out so hopefully it will melt .

    Jane
Night time gives you more time to think, your mind goes into overdrive.
If you are in pain it’s always worse at night also.

    Plant
Hopeyour new cleaner suits and does a good job , best not to go to games afternoon when you feel unwell xxx

    Gem
You obviously did too much and the cold will effect your knee also , maybe a pair of thick tights under your trousers in this weather would be an idea xx

    Daisy
You don’t realise at the time when lifting stuff, it’s afterwards isn’t it.
Hows it feeling this morning ? Maybe try resting it a little don’t do to much dashing around ,
Having to lug dishes etc into utility won’t be helping xx

    WG
Have a lovely visit to the baby , Christmas will be hard for you but at least you will have your DS and a lovely relaxed day at your DDs xxx

    Nanto
I will tell the weatherman to divert the snow
    No visitors expected today?

    Lizzie
I read it’s pancake day over there today , will you behaving any with the girls ? Xx

Went to Aldi this morning then to M&S

A woman in M&S about I would say late 60s was coughing her lungs up all over the food ,

She was looking at the cooked meats first bent forward to look and started coughing ,
Didnt stand up and turn away or put her hand in front of her mouth just coughed all over ,
She then went to the veg and did the same all over the potatoes , she did this all around the store ,
Then to top it off she sneezed into her hand and wiped her hands on the trolly handle 😱🤢

A man in front of me in the queue said in a very loud voice that some people should carry handkerchiefs and not spread their germs ,
She turned gave him a filthy look and carried on putting her stuff on the checkout ,
The checkout girl cleaned her hands with anti bac after she served her
A woman of that age should know better disgusting .

Mandy (cleaner) is going to speak to her boss as she feels I only need someone for an hour once a week instead of two hours once a fortnight. This is what I originally wanted. GD off shopping with DD for some clothes for her birthday.

Daisy, Men in the garage, no sink or dishwasher doesn’t sound like a restful day. Are you calling someone in to deal with the sink? Have you tried a dishwasher tablet and some hot boiling water to clear the sink. I hope your arm is feeling better today. I am sure there would have been a nice young man to assist you loading the compost.

Gemini, perhaps the physio didn’t realise how busy your life is normally. You are doing so well, just don’t over do it.

Oma, I hope that snow didn’t come to anything.

Nanto, I imagine there is always an open door at your house and the kettle is always on.

Oma, How awful to have someone coughing all over the food that people want to buy I wonder if she had Covid? Our M&S Foodhall only have wrapped meats only, the fruit and veg and bread are the only unwrapped items but it is a very small Foodhall.

            Hallo everyone,

In-between the hail showers I have been to the circuit training. There is a new lady in our group, apparently she was one of the best long distance skaters here.

Oma, we haven't a pancake day! They are trying to get March 17th as an official day but that is not working, was it Belgium you read about?

What a stupid woman to be coughing all over fresh foods and amongst people.

I am busy making space for my Ninja! It should be delivered late afternoon.

Oh it could have been Lizzie I just skimmed reading it , knowing me it’s somewhere entirely different , I can’t find the article now to reread 😁

Just spoken with Glamm she’s still very poorly , Dr said she has long COVID , she feels dreadful ,
Shes reading the posts but hasn’t the energy to reply , I’ve told her not to worry just pop in when she feels better x

Oh poor Glamma Oma, I do feel for her It's a good job we postponed our December meet wasn't it?

Plant I hope you don't have what OH and I had, a few people have had it. Take care.

I enjoyed my aqua class, avoiding the moves I can't yet do or are too painful. One of my 2 aqua friends stayed for coffee with me. I didn't fancy going into M&S so came straight home.

I tried to sleep after lunch but couldn't. Early night tonight!
Very cold here today 1 degree.

Sometimes your just too tired to have a nap your body and mind won’t shut down , horrible isn’t it xx

                      Good morning everyone.

Nan2, frost and a light dusting of snow here. I am not sorry that I have no plans to leave the house! Pub meal is a good reason to venture out though

I had an early night and slept much better I'm pleased to say.
Baby GS3 today. OH should be playing golf later, as long as the course is open.

                      Happy Thursday ladies.

Good Thursday morning everyone. We have snow! Cars and roofs are white over, but it's not sticking on the ground. We get so little snow here that even a few flakes is exciting/horrifying/scary depending on your feelings.

I was really tired last night and went to bed about 9 o'clock so didn't reply to everyone's news yesterday. Thank you for asking - my arm seems ok this morning. I didn't see any problem with lifting/sliding the compost onto the trolley and I did get someone to lift them into the car for me. I must learn to be more careful and less gung ho!

I'm horrified by the woman coughing and sneezing over the food in M&S. What a selfish, stupid woman. I deplore how everything in M&S is over-packaged but in this case, I can see why!

Plant, it makes sense for you to have your cleaner once a week, but I suppose for the cleaning firm it's more efficient use of their staff's time to do 2 hours every 2 weeks. How are you today?

Lizzie, I wonder if the new lady in your circuit group is already super fit if she's such a good skater - she must have great stamina. Has your Ninja arrived?

Nanto, I hope DS2 and DIL have a lovely time in Amsterdam. I bet they'll welcome one of your beef casseroles when they get back though. Enjoy your pub meal.

Gem, I'm glad you slept better last night. Have a lovely day with GS3 today - a good day to spend a lot of time of the sofa having cuddles. xx

Oma, I hope MIL is in a good mood today. She doesn't always realise how lucky she is to have you and B looking after her like you do.

Glamm, I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling poorly still. Long Covid is the last thing you needed. Take care of yourself, dear, and we'll try and keep you entertained on here, but no worries about replying until you feel strong enough. Big hugs. xx

I forgot to say, I'm meeting my College friends for lunch today. There should be 4 or 5 of us there, but I think one lady who has quite a distance to travel might not make it. I'm trying to persuade myself I need to stop off in town on the way back to get some new undies. I keep putting it off! I'll see how I feel.

I need to take Eva out for walkies first though. She's still tired after training yesterday, but I know I won't feel like going out in the cold and dark later on. I hate these short days.

Glamm, I am so sorry you are still very poorly, I am sure your family are keeping an eye on you.

Oma, I hope Mil will be on her best behaviour today.

Nanto, I like a good casserole, I bet yours are very tasty. Enjoy your lunch and the hairdresser at last.

Gemini, I suppose the healing of your knee will be be a bit up and down. Enjoy cuddles with the little one.

I am still not feeling great, cough and sore throat and no energy added to which I have a bad back. Not sleeping as well as I would like. Jack Frost visited us in the night, it was very pretty with the sunshine and blue sky, you can keep the snow Daisy.

The lady they have allocated to me to clean isn’t as thorough as the last one and will wizz through, perhaps not as thoroughly, in one hour but I have had a message to say I have to pay for two hours so do I keep her captured here. It is once a fortnight so she will only be here once before Christmas. I might have to look elsewhere in the new year to find someone who will come once a week.
