Good Saturday morning, everybody. We have sunshine, but there was a frost last night.

Gem, I', sorry you've got GS3's cold - you really could do without that at the moment. Will you feel like going out tonight? Have a nice easy day today.

Nanto, I'm trying to work out how to use the new dryer! It looks very complicated, and seems to have nearly as many programmes at the washing machine! Enjoy your day out in Wakefield.

I'm not sure what's happening today. I'm taking Eva on a group dog walk this afternoon. The trainer organises them and it's a chance to walk our dogs with other dogs from different classes. It's in a part of the Forest that's quiet at this time of year, but there are still distractions - other dog walkers with off-lead dogs, and the usual assortment of Forest wild life. OH and DS1 want to go to the classic car show in Birmingham tomorrow, but DS1 has been a bit under the weather after treatment on Tuesday, so if he feels ok, we'll go up to their house tonight so they can get an early start tomorrow. If he doesn't feel up to the day out we'll probably go just for the day tomorrow as we haven't seen them for a few weeks.

This is why I Strongly think fireworks should not be sold to the public.
There should be organised displays only .
I remember when I was in my teens we had an old lady living next door and she would take herself and the cat under the stairs .
Not only was the cat afraid but she was too, she was the same in a thunder storm.

Glamm is reading the posts everyday she just isn’t well enough or has the energy to post but she will when she’s up to it 😁

Havent stopped this morning
Did a good blitz of the downstairs ,
washed kitchen cupboards doors down, tops of doors work tops etc
gave Everything a good clean in the kitchen/ dinning room then moved onto the sitting room , utility ,downstairs loo and hall stairs and landing ,

cleaned all the tiling with vinegar smells like a chip shop but they are sparkling 😁

Now I’m having 10 minutes before I get a shower.
B been clearing all the leaves from the garden behind the shed and alley way, still loads to come down from the giant tree but at least it’s clear for a few hours .

GD2 has helping to finish the growth chart, also made some cupcakes.

Oma, she chose the black top, yet again, I wonder who they get that from????? My eyes always go to the black clothes!

I am taking GD2 back to their house and picking a dolls pram up on the way, it is for GD of DIL2, I am eating there tomorrow so can take it with me.

GD has been busy Lizzie.

We won't be going out tonight. OH has gone back to bed. I am dressed and lounging on the sofa. To be really honest I don't mind too much. It's a Thai restaurant with nothing on the menu chili free. I had to phone up and order a chili free meal. OH seems to feel worse than I do. I hope she feels better soon.

Well Ladies,going to Wakefield didn't happen.
We were just about to lock the door,when nephew phoned hubby.
He has got car trouble and asked hubby if he could help.
Nephew needs his car to get to work, so i told hubby to go and help him.
I would rather his car be fixed. I know what hubby would be like if his car was out of action.
So, we said we will go to Wakefield next week. I think i will go to town on Tuesday,when hubby goes to meet his pal.
The weather here is beautiful, and we both had a coat that needed washing,so they are both out in the sunshine.

I have been down with GD for a time today, I think her ankle is getting better but itis still swollen and bruised. I got some lunch from M&S for them on the way and she had a Waitrose delivery so they are well stocked up with food. We were not expecting her OH very soon after his work because his Grandmother died this morning and he went to see his sister but she is dealing with things. It was expected, she was 92 and had been in a home since his mother died last year.

DD came with Storm this morning stayed for lunch then she was going to pets at home on way back .
It's a nice bright day but so chilly.
I've actually been up and put my PJs and dressing gown on its the only time of the day I feel warm lately when I put them on .

Eva and I are back from our walk, and we're going up to DS1's now. If DS is feeling ok he and OH will go to the car chow as planned. If not, we'll just have a quiet day at theirs, and back home tomorrow night. So it's a quick whizz round to pack a few things and then we're off.

I'll try and catch up on my phone later.

Its turned really cold tonight,although we had wall to wall sunshine today.
We've got the heating on, but i always look forward to getting into a warm bed.

I've got a bit of ironing to do, and just tidy round.

Not making a sunday dinner,just jacket potatoes with cheese and tuna mayo.
Got an apple pie baking in the air fryer. We can have it with custard or cream or ice cream.
DS1 is off today,so he is coming for dinner.

She was to play golf with a friend today but has cancelled of course. We have done Covid tests and both negative. We will just stay in and keep warm today.
There is a chicken casserole in the freezer so I will defrost that and we'll have it with some form of potato tonight.

Watched the Remembrance service last evening, always so moving. I am having a lazy day today after two busy days with GD, her OH is home today.
