Good morning. Well yesterday ended up being a busy afternoon, we 4 visitors.

Daisy, have been told it's difficult to get tomato sausage in supermarkets. I have always bought it from the butchers I go to in town. In fact I could do with some more on Saturday when we are in town.
I bet the visit to the recycling place will be interesting.

Gem, pleased GS seemed happy enough going back to his club.

I think its chicken and veg pie for dinner.

Auntie G was well and happy to see us. We saw my cousin as we were leaving the car park, bringing some shopping for G.

Baby GS3 day today. No golf for OH this afternoon as there is a men's competition at the club all day. It means she gets to spend more time with the baby, and I get some help

I have a free day today, not dressed yet. I should be going to the tip, perhaps next week. I don’t know if any of you ladies would be interested. On BBC2 at 9pm they are broadcasting a programme about Coo Chanel, this is the programme that my GD2 was working on. GD travelled to America and France with the producer and cameraman to film and interview some of Coco Channels friends and models. Her name will be in the credits, it is Imogen Holland. Her latest job is researching into the life of the First Lady Astronaut.

Oma, I feel so sorry for D you would think modern medicine could come up with a cure.

Gemini, pleased you found your auntie well. You will be busy today with GS3, pleased you have S’s help.

Daisy, stand still for a moment please you are making me giddy. We had a talk at the National Trust Group about our recycling centre, I came out still unsure where to put what. Some recycling items don’t seem to fit and place.

4 visitors must have kept you busy Nanto, kettle must have been on a lot. Never tried tomato sausage.

Afternoon Ladies
Im late today ,
Had a busy morning , went to MILs and she had us running all over the place ,
First had To go to Morrisons with a shopping list get her main shopping from there , then to Aldi for some things she wanted there ,
Came back unpacked it all and put it away for her , had a cup of tea then she decided there was stuff in Lidl she wanted, so off we went there.
Dont mind really at least we know she has plenty in,

She had to cancel cleaner this week as she wasn’t well so me and B changed her bed and put bedding in the wash before we went shopping , it was ready to hang out by time we did the shopping ,
His other sister was going up at tea time to take it back in when it dries,

Camehome had some lunch then went for my own shopping , wanted to go to M& S but couldn’t be bothered we will go in the morning .

There is several items I think that your never sure can be recycled.
We can recycle tin foil but not tin foil dishes, no idea why , some plastics can’t go in recycle either.

A halfheartedly busy day today! We cut the lavender hedge back in the front garden with help from the under gardener (Bess, Collie dog). OH did the shrubs either side so it all looks tidy now. No energy left, so I have been pottering and he has been snoring. 😴🙄. I will make some big lavender bags tonight, I love the smell.
Lasagne ready to cook, that’ll do nicely.

Oma, yes you did say that yesterday.

This morning i made 2 apple crumbles and 2 apple pies.
Pottered about in the house,doing this and that.
DS1 called while the dinner was on.
I said if i had known he was coming i could have put 2 pies in or a bigger one.
He settled for a bacon and egg sandwich, which he enjoyed.
Tidied up after dinner,then the sun came out.
I decided to cut the grass and hubby got some new tulip bulbs planted. A few more to go in tomorrow.

Plant,i'm going to record the Coco Chanel programme. I set the recorder a couple of days ago.

Very pleasant day today, feeling very pleased with myself, paper and card etc taken to tip and I got my car cleaned at the golf club on the way back, better than where I usually take it.

Nanto, I am sure you DS really enjoyed his bacon and egg sandwich. I hope you enjoy the programme.

Hello ladies ,I'm late checking in today its been a busy day.
Thank you for all the lovely Birthday Wishes & E-Card which was so cute x I had a lovely day treated to a fab Indian Meal with my family lots of beautiful flowers also spoilt with lots of smellies.So today I have been catching up on housework and ironing (urggh) I ironed about 15 T-shirts I didn't realise I had so may waiting to be ironed how idle am ? its been a case of out of sight out of mind I think.

Plant I'm so glad you like your new cleaner are you like I was and tidy up before they arrive my DD used to say I was a bit mad doing that but hey-ho we like to set a good impression don't we ?

My little DGD is here tonite for her tea with her daddy she is so easy to cook for she will eat anything we are having meatballs & tagatellie (sp)? and tiramasu so all Italian in our house tonight easy to cook and it goes down well with crispy bread.

I've spent the day also looking at insurance quotes for my car as the company I'm with has quoted me nearly £170 more than last year so not a happy bunny.

Must go and say bye to my little DGD will talk soon ladies xx

Glamm, I had that problem with my car tax, I looked for other quotes but some covered this and others covered that so I bit the bullet and stayed with the same company.

I am usually very tidy so no problem with tidying up but I had to get up early and be out of the bathroom and dressed, usually lazy in the morning unless I have to go out.

Sounds like a lovely tea for GGD, sound lovely.

Hello everyone. Another dizzy day here! I still have a couple of phone calls to make, so I won't even try and catch up - but I have read your posts. Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit less crazy. I have cancelled my aquafit class for this morning. I think I have been running myself ragged trying to do such lot before Tuesday.

Honeymooners just sent some photos. They are 2 hours ahead of us.
Temperature is 33. They are sat with ice cold drinks.
