Yesterday ended up being quite busy, but enjoyable.
Pub meal and company was lovely.
Had a lovely couple of hours visiting GD1.
Daisy, she is 29 today.
Glad the hospital appointment didn't take too long.

Heard on the news about the shooting in Rotterdam, wondering how far that is from Lizzie.

Apparently we are going to have a dry bright morning, so going to get a dark wash on.

Easy dinner today, frozen thin fries,egg and beans or peas.

Lizzie I remember you telling me the meaning of GD2's name when she was born. Pretty name in Dutch and English.

I have my post op check and dressing removal at 8.30. Then the physio at 10.45. I will ask at reception if there is any chance physio can see me earlier.

Plant, I'm sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly, and your SIL on holiday. I hope they have a good journey back from Spain today. I'm sure your'e doing all the right things, and it's very sensible not to risk passing it on to GD1 and family. Take care and get better soon.

Gem, I'm sure it will be a relief to get the dressing off. I hope they are pleased with your progress. It would be nice if you didn't have to wait for the physio for so long.

Lizzie, such awful news from Rotterdam. As Oma, says, you wonder what the world is coming to. My heart goes out to the family of that lovely young girl murdered in Croydon. How on earth does a family deal with such brutality and loss.

OH has someone coming to do something on the kit car today. I really think he ought to be resting and taking it easy today, but there's no telling them is there! His eye isn't too bad, but he really shouldn't be bending down over the car or risking getting dust in it! Sainsburys aren't coming till 12 o'clock so I've got some time to get washing and other chores done this morning. I'd better get a move on.

All the talk about a storm brewing and the sun is cracking the flags here on The Wirral no sign of bad weather at all washing all drying nicely on the line

Plant please take things easy and rest I do think the best medicine is a nice Brandy in a warm glass don't you agree it may not get rid of the illness but by god it will make you feel better in yourself xx

So many sad reports about knife crime isn't there do the people who decide to carry these weapons not realise how deadly they are there have been reports of youngsters as young as 12 carrying knives so tragic.

This morning on local media there is a report of a school bus overturning on a nearby Motorway (M53) it was full with students going to Local Grammar School such a worry for all the parents .

Oma I am definitely going to attack my bedroom today and give it a right "bottoming" as they say and leave no stone unturned lots of black bags at the ready I will be ruthless in the process
I promise.

DD called in to see me yesterday afternoon last visit before she goes away tomorrow I shall miss her for the 2 x weeks she is away DGD says she will pop in to see me I thanked her for the warning lol.

Off now for some late breakfast & a cuppa then going to make myself busy with Spring cleaning.xx

Back from the hospital, physio fitted me in early so that was great.
I will update on that thread, but all good.
I am in a lot of pain from the mornings appointments so am having a soothing cookie and ice pack as it's not time for more painkillers

I decided to give the kitchen cupboards and doors a good clean ,
I climbed onto the worktops to give the tops and the extractor Hose a clean ,
B made me come down and got the big ladders out so he could do it without climbing

We then went to Home bargains , I wanted cling film came out with a 3 stack light up pumpkin for halloween 🎃🙄🎃😁

DD and Sil just arrived back from holiday, one of the children had left their front door locked so they couldn’t get in without coming through mine. Someone will be getting a telling off. I didn’t feel too good this morning but I have been in the sunroom and feeling a bit better. I should have been at a tea party this afternoon, missed everything this week. We are having a gorgeous day today. My help came on Tuesday and she cleaned some cupboards out containing cooking items, she found so many out of date

Oma, you are naughty giving B a fright but sounds like something I would have done but not anymore. I don’t blame you not agreeing to return the curtains, your Mil takes the biscuit (as they say). We have a Home Bargains quite close, I sometimes pop in there.

Glamm, I miss my family when they are away, they have just come back from a weeks holiday in Spain on the border with Gibraltar. I have seen programmes on television and your chats about your area makes me want to go there but alas too late for me. Do you have neighbours yet?
