I have never stopped since I got up ,
Got washed and ready then before I came downstairs I did the ironing I didn’t get done yesterday, hate leaving it I usually iron same day they are washed and dried.

Came down had breakfast then did the dusting hoovering washing worktops door handles etc ,
I then swept the drive of all the leaves , bit of a waste of time by time I put be broom away there was more🙄

B has taken car to Garage for the battery a pre organised appointment from weeks ago
So I’m now having a cup of tea with my feet up.

GS went home late last night so I couldn’t go to bed till he text to say he was home safe
DD sent him home with clean bedding clean and ironed clothes and shopping 😁

Good Morning everyone,
I have been up bright and early this morning I just couldn't sleep at all I have left a post on YEO for everyone to read.

Daisy you are so busy you will be meeting yourself coming back if you don't slow down a wee bit I'm so glad I don't have to go for eye injections anymore they have got my eyesight as good as they can now the people at the clinic where so good it was frightening when I first went but after the first time I had no worries about going.

Its creeping up to my DDs holiday she goes this next week-end she really needs the break now more than ever I shall miss her so much but will keep in touch with messenger as I am hopeless with facetime thingy !! she has spent the week-end sorting her dresses for evenings out with Gra she has some lovely dresses she has even taken my fav dress which I took to B'ham nothing is sacred in my wardrobe & my holiday suitcase.

There is no sign of the new neighbour next door maybe he has decided he doesn't like me and changed his mind ?? Maybe he has had to give a certain amount of notice at his old place .

This week I am going to Liverpool Docklands as there are some little pop up shops opening over the next month I'll go on my own and do a wander I enjoy doing that just going at my own pace stopping every now and then to people watch & enjoy a coffee.

Can someone tell me where all the dust come's from under the big cushions on sofa's I changed the scatter cushions and noticed a few crumbs and lifted off the big cushions what a lazy person is Mrs Glamma so shocked at the dust underneath so out came the hoover and dettol wetwipes there is only me here most of the time so where does it come from I don't eat on my knee at all I use the bistro table in the kitchen.

DD's partner G called in yesterday to collect a small freezer which I do not need she is batch cooking for the GCs for when she is away for 2 weeks it gives me more space in my outside shed and I can put my suitcases in for storage I was going to buy a small plastic storage unit for the back but don't need it now as I have plenty of space.

Off now to start some tiding in back garden nothing strenuous just a rack over the grass xx

Plant, thank you I rearranged it for Friday when I will be back there for my follow up appointment anyway. There is gap between the appointments, but at least they are both in the morning and one car journey.

Oma I didn't sleep as well last night, I was watching Come Dine With Me at 4am! OH and I are sleeping separately until I am recovered, so at least I can put the TV on.
You need a rest now!

I know you will miss your DD Glamma, but you will keep in touch, and see her soon.

No DD yet. I thought she was coming before baby's morning nap, but maybe not!

My DD and Sil are away at the moment Glamm, I do miss them. My Dil is very kind and thoughtful but she flits everywhere when I am out with her. Yesterday in JL my GS who wanted to buy glasses and I gave up and let her flit. Needless to say she is very slim.

Daisy, Thinking about you, have a safe journey.

My furniture is very heavy and doesn’t get moved often. I dropped a tablet and it rolled under the chair I sit in, so I tipped it back and was disgusted with what was under there. Carpet to be cleaned soon and now I have a cleaner it will get checked.

I say the same about the Cutlery drawer , where does all the crumbs come from , they go in clean but you can bet when you look there’s crumbs no matter how many times you clean it out .

My SIL is like your DIL,
Everything at high speed she is a nightmare to shop with , only ever been in a supermarket once and told her I would meet her at the door when I was finished .

Thats the beauty of having a spare room that you can go in so as not to disturb the other person,
I was watching that American Pawn shop at 3 this morning mind they get some strange people in these places ,
But it was better than nothing I suppose and better than TV shopping channels that have been selling the same beds etc for years 😁

We have been to our small Morrisons this morning , didn’t get what I wanted but it’s something I’m not waiting for so no worries ,

GS rang he was going in to his first ever lecture at Uni he was very excited he said it feels real now 😁

My Sister then rang we had a chat about our Mam she would have been 104 today

Apart from a parcel being delivered later nothing else to do I may have a Nana nap 😁

Oma, i agree about the cutlery drawer getting crumbs in. i t was only last week when i mentioned it to hubby.

Well I did well for visitors today. DD3 and baby were here until half an hour ago. The neighbours with 10 week old baby popped in as DD was passing some clothes to them, also for her to grab a cuddle
My friend who is a nurse called in this afternoon too and DD made her a cuppa. Not sure when OH will be back but I know there is a casserole in the fridge which she made yesterday for tonight.

Going to make 2 cottage pies this morning. One for dinner, one for the freezer.
I want to clean the bathroom and any other jobs that crop up.

I fell off my bike yesterday afternoon, I had been to aqua, then took flowers I had got for GD2, it was her football trainers birthday and she asked where she could get roses, I said I would go to the grower for her, which I did, I delivered them and 2 cup cakes I had made, one for each of them, she sat eating hers and said "oh that takes me back nan to baking them after school"! I then went to the new Lidl and did some shopping, whether the panniers were heavy, I lost my balance or my legs were weak from the jumping I had done in the pool I do not know, there is a steep bridge on the way home, I felt myself going and I went!!! Luckily just got a sore hip and elbow and the bike wasn't damaged, 2 cms higher on the hip my iPhone would have been shattered! It is a very busy cycle path, it was 5-30pm and no-one!!! One lady had taken another path and saw me fall, she came to see if I was ok, luckily I was! I have just been early morning to see if it was me getting older but I managed it this morning!

Nan2 it's always good to cook extra for the freezer.

Golf again for OH today. Just her own club so a shorter day than yesterday.
She will leave me a flask and some lunch. It is carrying anything through from the kitchen ( where there is nowhere to eat) which stops me being able to do everything for myself yet, as on sticks.
I used a big cotton shoulder bag to carry some stuff about and that is useful.
I think a friend is coming round today but I don't know when.

All DS1s washing is out drying in the sun it is so warm here today I'm going to wash the plastic furniture in the garden this afternoon when DD arrives she is popping in for the last time before they go away I think she is going to show me how to skype that should be fun I think !!

There is still no sign of the new next door neighbour very strange not even put up curtains to the windows .

I know it is very early but I feel I must start getting together the C-------s Boxes for the little ones as the number is increasing this year,grown up DGCs can all have gift vouchers or £s depending what they prefer,The Range have some lovely boxes so I need to buy 5 this year so I'll keep a look out for things which they will love and start packing slowly over the next weeks.

Plant be extra careful lifting up chairs you could hurt yourself sweetie my stick hoover has a bend in it so it goes under chairs but it doesn't reach to the back of the chair/sofa.

There is some ironing calling me to be done it has been calling since Monday I must make the effort later or maybe tomorrow.

Gems I hope you are resting and not running about young lady are you sleeping well I hope so.

Will be off now need to do some bits before DD arrives and starts organising me.xx

Glamm, no worries I will not be moving furniture, I pay the carpet cleaners to do that. My lovely cleaner has just been and she has cleaned out and washed kitchen cupboards. All the out of date items are now emptied and containers in the re-cycling. I wonder who your neighbour will be

Gem I was going to suggest a bag to carry stuff ,
When B was unwell and I had to go out I would leave a flask of coffee and a small cotton bag with a flat bottom so if he wanted anything out of the fridge he could carry it in there,
I told MIL to do the same on a night with her book phone and hot water bottle and her drink .
At first she said no she would manage but now finds it’s easier.
You have find ways of doing things dont you , How you feeling today ?

Hope you get the hang of Skype , I temember in the lock down when we tried a Skype meeting with all us Grannies it wasn’t the easiest of things for some of us 😁

We decided to pop to Tesco it’s a good 20 minutes drive but a nice big store ,
Walked through the doors and the first people we bumped into was old neighbours and work mate of Bs
We haven’t seen them in many years ,
It was lovely seeing them again so we went into the Cafe for a good old catch up 😁

Might pop to B&M later see what I feel like after lunch.

Hallo everyone, I wasn't stiff, my hip hurt in bed when I turned over but that is ok now, according to a friend it is because I go to the gym and muscles are well used, it could be, I will have to keep going then I fall easier!!!!! Or just not fall.

Oma, just a scrape on my elbow, strange as sleeve and top not damaged.

A lovely sunny day, my washing has dried etc. I may go for a bike ride
